Lewisburg police stopped Glen Adcock while driving on East Commerce, in the middle of the afternoon, and Adcock was stumbling drunk.

The Lewisburg police called his wife, Wanda, who works at Lewisburg city hall, to come get her husband and take him home.

This is police corruption. Is it a wonder people in this town have no respect for the police. Look for a TBI investigation on this one.

Will not happen. FBI does not handle this type of mickey mouse issue. It could be up tp the newspaper and the D.A. to investigate. That will not happen either.

Its not an issue. The law does not obligate the police to make an arrest in that instance. The guy was cut a break like many others have received in the past...probably wasn't as bad as described anyway...only those actually there know the extent of situation. Always somebody looking for a conspiracy where there is none.

Won't be an investigation because no law was broken by the police. They're not obligated to take everyone to jail. They have discretion. I agree with the guy who said you're looking for a conspiracy where there is none. There are situations where police have to make an arrest but this isn't one of them. Besides, only those who were there know what really happened.

Where is your proof he was drunk? Did you do a sobriety check? Breathalyzer? Or even a personal visual? Or are you repeating someone else's words? How do you know he was not having a medical issue and requested his wife come pick him up? Sounds like a knee-jerk reaction to something you know nothing about. Better hope if he wasn't drunk that you don't get some problems of your own for posting his name with slander. That was pretty stupid of you.

There are medical conditions that can have the same affects as being intoxicated. I myself have diabetes and have had to at times have my spouse come get me due to dizziness, slurred speech, and the shakes. Sometimes this comes on so sudden that people are not aware of it until they stand up or make a rapid movement. Don't judge unless you were there. There is also a possibility that if he WAS intoxicated that he was not at the legal limit. The only ones who know were onsite

Or maybe it was pretty smart of the poster. Bring it all out and get everyone to swear in court. Too many people involved to keep their stories straight.

You think it matters what is said on this POS site? LMFAO!! It will never be in court if there was no arrest or ticket involved. Wake up and smell the real world. The only thing that matters is don't use someone's name without solid facts to back it up or risk reprisals. The original poster has a better chance of seeing a courtroom than anyone else if this slander proves worthy of it.

How many of you remember about fifteen years ago when a very prominent citizen was under some kind of influence of something(meds or alcohol) and hit a guard rail on the Moorseville Highway and the police called the Chief(his friend) at that time to see what he wanted to do with him. The Chief said to take him home and no charges were filed. One of the police let it slip out and all hell hit the papers and radio here in Lewisburg. Might be wrong but believe the Chief was called on the carpet by the council for it. Would hope they would do the same thing for you and me if no one was hurt.

TBI investigation what a joke. Your acting like this is on Nancy Grace. Save yourself the ignorance and educate yourself.

Pigs make me sick!

If I break the law I would go to jail. Guess the same rules don't apply for all. I used to work for a well known business owner in Lewisburg who told me if I ever got into trouble he would take care of it.

Sounds like mafia corruption on a low level. Lewisburg will never change!

did one cop not get demoted a few years ago for the same thing, so i would say its a problem. you take one to jail you take them all, no favors .....point is, crooks will rise to the top. stop trying to live right, take what you think is yours, the rest do.

Mr. Adcock is 70-75years old and no one knows his medical history;therefore, no one should make assumptions that wasn't there. As said earlier, many medical conditions/medicines can mimic many of the side effects of alcohol.

Doesn't matter if it is a medical condition if someone had to come get u they don't need to be behind the wheel and police are only suppose to use discretion on certain offenses not all laws violated can an officer choose what to do noone should be above the law like some of these low poor excuse for officials
