Cal Ripken League Stinks

This is the worst season ever for kids and parents playing baseball and softball. No one knows the rules, not even the umpires. The rules change from game to game. BRING BACK LITTLE LEAGUE !

I have to agree.
Mine has moved up to softball this year, but I've heard so many parents complaining about the t-ball rules with the using the tee and then once you decide to do it you can't change it once the game starts. It sounds like a mess. I don't understand why they decided to change.

I disagree.. Our kid plays in the 11 and 12 year old group and it the best thing that has happened to Marshall co. baseball. It gets them ready for Babe Ruth and High school. But i do agree about the tee in t-ball.

little league is not what we need to be play. They try to tell you every little thing to do so it takes all the fun out of playing. Yes they made changes this year and no not everyone benfited from them but with change is growth and i believe you have to start somewhere. So keep making it better so we can be a good ball park again.

One year is not enough time to see pros or cons, please stay with Cal Ripkin.

Planning on going to one of the tournaments at the Little League Park? Little League is not allowed to charge an admission, but the Cal Ripkin League is.

I heard when they host tournaments that they can charge to get in the gate. plus if you went to watch any other tournament you would have to pay.

yes im sure there will be an admission charge. I know last year was. I dont agree, but there is always a charge when we go to other parks.

There should be an admission charge and it go into the county general fund.
Look at Muary County they are talking about raising the admission charges and charging extra fees for using their parks.

Good idea in times of a tight budget I think there should be an admission tax paid to the county and city for all ball games to help cover lights, taxes, and ambulance service sitting there.

not usally an ambulance sitting there, station is right across the street. The park spends alot of its own money thats build up through the year to upgrade some things that get run down through the season. We really need lewisburg to stand out when visitors come to town. The park will have people from across the country to play here. Pleas esupport anyway you can, Tn. as a state can benifit through These events. People may return for vacation,

Although Little League cant or doesn't charge admission to get into the ballparks. From my experience they all charge people to park their cars. So whats the difference

Little League has never charged to park a spectators car. Where did you get this info?
Evidently if you were a little league coach, it must have not been in Marshall County.(since your title is past little league coach)

Little league wont let you charge, but, they are looking for there fees evey time you turn arounf

That is not true. At other Little League district and state tournaments that I have attended, they charge you a parking fee.

parks are struggling right now, we should try to support ours, not destroy it.
