Is there a place where you can go online to see what events are taking place in Lewisburg. I know the Rotary is having the Festival on the Rocks in May but I'm just wondering about other summer events that may be taking place.

There will be a free helmetless motorcycle burn-out show in a marts parking lot sat night.

Several smoke shops will have a sale on cartons of no-name brands.(I know you think you earned them but please don't ask them to take your food stamps)

Another grand opening for a hair salon will be sometime this week and will feature most of the hair care specialist from a shop which closed down the week before.

A meat and 2 1/2 will be closed this week by the dept, but good news folks, two more will open in it's place.

The local wraslin' ring will be introducing another big name local talent this weekend.

Was it necessary for you or the person to give me a lemon and a nut? I was not too far off and they are true events this week or the coming. Lighten up a bit and have fun with life. There is always going to be a want to be comedian with evey statement made.
On the other hand, a lot of folks around here take offense to the use of the name "bumpkin" or even the thought that they may be considered one or they even the type exist.
No, to answer your question, it was not necessary but I thought it to be fun at the moment. No harm done. I did not hurt or attacked no one in the making of the post. But how true, right?

It's dumbasses like this that make topix a waste of effort. Fortunately retarded people like boobieb are a small percentage of the Lewisburg population. Hey boobie don't forget to put your helmet on before you go outside.

MR L,
Look around for heavens sake. Who is the dumb butt? I guess your standards are so low you think this is paradise. For each it's own. Get a life and a sense of humor. You are a hateful person. People like you need to leave so lewisburg can be a better place to live for all. It is obvious you can't see outside your free housing area. Guys like you act tuff on the net but don't have what it takes to make a difference. Sorry you are such a, and mind you, I am not a person to call people names, but you my friend are a loser. And it is Mr B to you. bb

Okay, first of all you imply that I'm on food stamps & now you imply that Mr. Lewisburg is on free housing. Yes none of know anything about each other on here but it appears that is probably the only lifestyle you know seeing as to how that's all you refer to. For all you know he could be the president of the bank. Just because we'd like to have a serious conversation doesn't mean we're on food stamps & free housing.

If that is so, e-mail the guy. This is an open forum and not owned by you. I tried to liven the place up. You need a life. I never said you were on food stamps, you did that to yourself. And a banker???? Banks are failing every day.
And serious conversation??? Where to get a listing of events?? One line answer. Not a serious conversation like how to end world's hunger or aids. Now that would be serious.
Well, love to chat but I have to renew my CDL so I'll leave you with one thought.
What is a country bumpkin doing on the computer all day and not at work? Waiting on the ole check are we?
Have a nice day, your friend,

It would be nice if our local radio stations would allow free posting on their sites for events if they went against the norm. I have looked on the radio sites and see nothing really. They honestly do not even up date them often enough for us to keep up with local happenings. It would be wonderful to see support group meeting times posted along with classes offered in the area. Items that could help with life; commodities pick up, volunteers needed, beautification projects, links to local offices. I would love to help in this sort of endeavor.

That is the sad thing. You go by Mr Lewisburg, like you are someone and Lewisburg is the Grande' model to all to emulate and appreciate.
If you have been here a good part of your life you are at fault for what was allowed to happen in Lewisburg and surrounding areas.

If I were you I would take credit for nothing and take time to change your attitude and listen to fresh ideas and thoughts from people just coming into the area.
These people have come from beyond the hill which you fear to travel. They have witnessed growth and prosperity and want nothing better but to improve a situation which thanks to people like you are in dire need of outside assistance because you have provened to be unworthy of a leadership position based on your past unsatisfactory performance. See, you are graded by others not by yourself or family members.

These people from beyond have lived the life of acceptance of others and learned to co-inhabit with people of different backgrounds. They have learned the importance of a good education, standards and understand a goods day work for a good days pay. They are from a society where the best man wins, not solely by who you know. They need nothing other than a chance to excel but people like you do all you can to try to hold them back through nepotism and other dirty tactics which are so easy to see.

So go ahead and be proud of your name and live with the thought that behind your back your surrounding neighbors better know you as Mr Losersburg and it seems to be OK with you because you do nothing to try to better your situation. As you once said and it goes both ways and seems to fit here, "If you only knew".

I'll say this because good chance the radio station personal are too shy to say. They are there to make money and to do that they need proceeds from advertisers. I know the area would take advantage of the free situation and sneak in "profit" situations, masking their slick attemps behind "local happenings".
They also may have their hands tied because certain events may run against the grain of what the local leadership wants.

Sad to say but true. It would be nice if topix was a good place to do what I suggested earlier but someone would have to make a joke of the situation.

As I said. This is a fine example of why Topix at least the one for Lewisburg is a waste of time. You have no idea who I am and what I do and what I am doing to improve Lewisburg. No instead you go on your little rant tangent and begin insulting me which is the primary activity of topix posters.

Let me ask you, what are you doing to improve Lewisburg? Boobieb?

I would dare to say I have put in more hours in the past two months than you have in your lifetime. If you would like to compare notes PM me and we can get together and discuss this in a civil manner. Otherwise do not bother responding. I am done with this thread.

Just got back from a road trip. I see the truth bothers you. I understand man, you think you are making change.
You are missing the whole thing. The people are the core problem and until you change the way they think and act you are spinning your wheels. They say you can dress a hobo all up and at the end, you still have a hobo.
You see mr L-burg, you just don't have the knack to lead. I am a realist and at least identify the problems and put them on the table for everyone to see. I am a civil person.
Doing so, it allows the receiver to read about it and know it is an issue and decide how and if they want to fix it or change their ways.
Some actions are blind to the person until it is identified to them.
You on the other hand want to ignore the issues and dress up the problems with flowers and covering them up with smell good which is better known as a band-aid fix. If you think about it, I bet any changes you are trying to put into action somehow benefits you one way or another, now doesn't it? Come clean now. It wasn't nice calling me a boobie. Did you pick that one up on the 2nd grade playground?
