The last thing we need are full time legislators (politicians.) Do you know any other full time state legislators?

Has our county mayor given up his job with Grover Collins? His name is still on the ads. We have a county mayor working for the local Democratic party boss. That't the problem with Marshall County as well as the nation. Democrats can't stop spending. Want to lower that debt. Vote out all the democrats. Start local. Vote out JBL.

Its kinda hard to seperate you from county level to State level.
I guess we are trying to judge your qualifications for State Rep. from your actions as a county Rep.
If you would like to go over your agenda as to why you would be more affective at the State level again; that would be fine with me.
I must admit the employee boards and your new plan of pathing still hasnt quite sunkin in yet.
I think you will have to address the private vs public job question also. Air and solid waste by-products. I guess special leaning to favor your private jobs interests would have to be discussed and put to rest.
Let me ask you this -
How does your plan differ from current State Rep.Eddie Bass? Not that I have heard any plan from him yet. Seems Like you initiated the action for the benefit of our County. At least there is action (I hope) taking place with the state.
I wish more would participate! Sandbaggers Listening? I would hope that the chance for dialog with your Representatives on your own time (Whenever you want to check in) schedule would wake people up to the great opportunity a change like this could make. Everyone operating in their own comfort zone. Can we make the Connection?
Not us and them but "We the people!"

Here is my question how can that location ever have been a safe location for the Dump as related to the schools and populated area even the State is right about the sinkhole for at any time the Earth could open up and swallow the whole area where there is one sinkhole there are many. Is even the soil safe as related to the porous nature of this counties soil?

Does the dump have aluminum salt cake spent dross hauled in there by the truck load from different sources from in and out of this County does this and his job make this a conflict of interest? How has he voted in the past as related to record on any if any of the Dump issues before the County Commission?

Full time Legislator question I want to know if he will keep the best interest of the people in mine all the time as well as not use the excuse of his factory job too say my time is limited for all our time is limited on this earth and government officials have the peoples health, taxpaying pocket book and our children’s future in the votes they vote.
I may still vote for him just for the reason of as you say his willingness to communicate on this forum, and seemly open answers to our questions for I also believe in open Government of the People, by the People and For the People.

No. This is not a career move. That was a very good question. I will still have to make a living. It will be hectic while in session, however, it is a sacrifice that must be made. Thank God for people that have made this possible for someone that still works for a living. They are true patriots.

There are two major differences between current representation and me.

One is that I have legislative experience and come from a background of earning a living in the private sector. Except for when I was fighting in the armed forces, I have never been provided a livelihood by the government. I know first hand what we are posed with as a taxpayer and as a tax rate setter. If you are looking for just another politician with a ton of experience in making a living off the government, I am not the candidate for you. If you are tired of being represented by that type politician, I am. I do hope you continue to have trouble separating me from county level issues. I intend to continue to stay focused on what issues we have at the county level. I am a current Commissioner and have a job to do. That's why we are posed with some issues. We have had few taking interest in our "local" issues.

The other is that I do have a plan. There has been four years pass with no significant effort evident to address our major issues. A gold fish in a barber shop doesn't cut it. I contend that you should not have to hear a plan from someone with four years under their belt. The plan should be self evident. If you don't know now what his plan is then that should tell you something.

So, we will be putting our waste on someone that has never taken our waste. I know, that's because you are better than them.

The point is that I don't care which one of you gets my waste. Cost is the primary concern for me. I will be sending mine to someone else and you are no better than the ones that live next to the landfill in Rutherford County. I know you think you better than the Rutherford County residents, but not everyone thinks that.

So Cost is the primary Concern for you? Is that what you wrote WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN’S, FAMILES HEALTH WHAT ABOUT THE ENVIORMENT?

WHAT ABOUT “LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL”?
Timothy 1 Chapter 6 Verse 10

This Dump in Lewisburg is in the wrong location the longer it stays open the more the Danger the more, the Damage, the more the effects on families, children and people’s health, the less likely any new factories, new people will locate in Lewisburg are the area.
Would you if you knew a Major Regional Stinking Leaking Chemical Toxic Dump with Garbage and Chemical trucks coming from who knows where were on the roads Interstate traveling there, existed in a Town close to the Schools, residential areas, even sinkholes

There does seem to be major air pollutions factories in the area whose management seems to love the Dump location as to their bottom line of Love of Money by cheap disposal of their Garbage and other industrial wastes.
I consider them my friends yet question their wisdom, for Hell holds a hotter fire and love of money will buy a many ticket there.

Marshall County or Rutherford County. What's the difference. Oh, I forgot. You live near the Marshall County dump. That makes all the difference in the world to you. Those that live near the Rutherford County landfill aren't important to you. There is not difference in where we put the trash. The only difference is who live by each dump. Treating others differently that you want to be treated has bought many a ticket as well. LOL you are such a hypocrite.

If you don't have a solution, why post anything. Waste has to go somewhere. If it doesn't go into the landfill in Lewisburg, it will go to the landfill in Rutherford County. That's the plan. Don't you read the Marshall County paper? They will be shipping it to the landfill in Rutherford County. Perhaps you should show some compasion for those people that live near that dump.

You certain are more concerned with youself and your family rather than the residents of the landfill in Rutherford County or wherever we wind up sending our trash. Why should I be more concerned with you than them?
