About time for a positive thread in this Topix.

Some oldie but goodies i like are North by Northwest, The Man Who Knew Too Much (James Stewart version), Yojimbo/Sanjuro.

Somewhat recent movies i liked that not many people have seen are Meeting Evil (Samuel Jackson), Retreat, Drive (Ryan Gosling).

O' Brother Where Art Thou, Slingblade, From Up On Poppy Hill...

I don't really like westerns but this one is alright.

Seven Alone (1974). A frontier family with seven children heads West on the Oregon Trail. When both of their parents die, they decide to push on alone. Stars: Dewey Martin and Aldo Ray. Watch classic westerns on http://www.westernmania.com

It is a full movie. It is a true story in 1843. Some strong correction with a belt by the father on the oldest son that needed to learn to behave. As with anything in life, we don't know why we are going through something. What's next is what we face. The son was strong willed and it helped him to save his sisters and brothers. If you show it to your children be prepared for some discipline love but it all works out. God doesn't give us more than we can handle.
