ok now if we are to change we have to find a better way to communicate our diff. this is a big reason we are falling down , we are not down yet just kind of heading that way. if we can have solutions to our problems rather then name calling then so be it, if you have a problem to talk about, how about you throw in how you think it could be fix, honestly, give it a try one problem and several solutin, wow thats how you change folks
Local Public Officials the Mayor and City Council need to Stop all their cover up, corrupt ways and be honest with the people!
1. When the City is overcharged for street lights for 6-7 years don't think of ways to spend that money, think of why it happened and if any other customers were over charged also?
2. When city managers just up and leave check know why don't take someone's other than the person leaving then tell the tell the people the truth why!
3. When public officials give out raises they not support too take those raises back and fire not retire those responsible!
4. Fire the Mayor if it takes that!
5. Add to the Audit report; itemized all salaries, city business travel, seminars attended, any estimated perks, food, gas, drinks, snacks, and gifts to any city public official, including Mayor, City Council members, department board members, and department managers!

Most importantly be honest with the public!
Require all dead cows or animals found stuck in the city water intake pipe, to be reported at once to the public!

MF may promise you the world as mayor.Does he not realize it a 4 hour a week job?All the mayor does is sign some papers and conduct the meetings. They do not have the power to call the shot.He is trying to feed everyone a line of shit. All words that he can not fulfill....Do not take his word on the line of shit.
NO POWER for the MAYOR........
why does he not run for mayor in Bedford county????
Some Mayor's of Lewisburg may think being Mayor is a 4 hour a week job, but if Street Talk has it, if MF gets Mayor he will be Mayor 24-7 and will his door always be open to help those who need the Mayor's help?
He don't live in Bedford County aren't we all so glad he lives in Marshall County and is running for Mayor!
Right across the street from city hall if in an emergency he will be right there on the Mayor's Job!

If Mr. Farrar would like to clean up this town, perhaps he should begin with appointing someone to deal with the multitude of codes violations on many of the properties that proudly display this campaign sign.

well that would not be his job at this time, if there are code problems maybe you should call city hall and ask the codes guy to do his job, better yet call your curent mayor and ask her to look in to, wth is he to do he is not in office yet....hmm not in office but you want him to do the city job, why not put him in office then see what he will do, he has about as much power to get things done as you do at this point, . he has a town hall meeting planed herd it on the radio, why not lets go see what he or the others have to say, ok m

you know atleast he is talkling about a plan, what have the others said other then lets bring in jobs, well they have no plan, i think, mf has had several plans he has been talking about, ask the other guys what is their plan, other then one being forced to retire from work and then he and his wife sold the hotel to indians, jb well he been in office down at city starting back in 1983, he chaired his boared in 97 to now, now he has been on the in side why has he not made a change , now he claims he can do something, YOU BEEN THERE 30 YRS should already been doing something, now trying to go out with mayor on your title .. well lewisburg will not be used that way and my vote will always go to mf.

My vote is for Bingham. Great man with a great attitude. Willing to work with people and have an open mind. Willing to listen to others. Business man, has ran an engineering firm in Lewisburg for years. Family man, has grown children that went through the Marshall County system and knows what it takes to make Lewisburg a great place to live. Vote Jim Bingham Mayor!

If you don't realize you are choosing between the evil you know and the evil you don't know, you obviously don't know Lewisburg Politics. Vote for Bingham and nothing might change. Vote for Farrar and we might become Pottersville. Both are scary.

Great attitude if you mean having fits like a spoiled baby. Willing to work with people if you mean those who think they are an elite click. Willing to listen if you mean those he thinks are below him saying yasser masser. Business man if mean sitting on the planning commission as chairman when you are being paid by builders for your professional services. Can you really be fair? Seems like a conflict of interest.
Family man... I want even comment on that one. What a joke. Kids who went through the school system.... yes and moved on out of Lewisburg. His own kids don't even want to live here. Vote Jim Bingham for mayor and send Lewisburg to hell in a hand basket. He is a joke and laughing stock on his bicycle.

The Jim B I met was a nice, reasonable person who is working hard to be mayor. I spoke to him on a couple occasions and could have him as a friend.
I think the race will be between him and Bill W.
I will vote for one of them. Hopefully both do what they say they will do on are not blowing smoke up my shiny. As for riding a bike, I wish I could ride too. Would you laugh at me if I rode one?
I am looking for someone who cares about the little guy and will truly listen to the people and not be persuaded by the local machine.
