Hold Open Public Debates, the more the better! Allowing the citizens, public, news reports to ask questions of each, lets the people see how smart any are?
Got a question about that Derogative Derivatives Deals?
Is even the Electric Company 6-7 years of over charging the city for street lights, hundreds of thousands of dollars?
Wonder if any other customers were over charged also?

No, no. that would either upset them or scare them. They would all agree to not debate unless easy pre=prepared questions were made. They would avoid the tuff ones by not having all the info with them or they do not have access or not their job.

Man of the people, for the people, who wants to help the people not himself, give an outsider the chance to prove Lewisburg needs New People, new ideas, a small business man who knows the problems of starting and operating his own business!

If there was an emergency don't he live just across the street from city hall and the police station?

Why then is the click working so hard to discredit him? Could or would he reappoint all the boards with new members and the click might have a heart attack?

Should Lewisburg take some advice from Bedford County just look how Shelbyville has grown, do they have with lots of good places to eat, new hospital, horse show, nice square, large shopping centers, cheap property tax rates?
With his experence in small business and back ground in law enforcment, he should make Lewisburg a Great Mayor with no connections to the local click!
Vote against the click what Lewisburg has had for years, show them Lewisburg don't need them!

Mike Farrar is a joke. His experience with law enforcement is keeping his drug selling ass out of jail. When does being a drug dealer classify you as business owner (maybe in Lewisburg). His bonding company is a front, ask anyone in Shelbyville that knows him and his family.

Mf has been here several years, and as far as what a mayor does well, thats the problem with the current mayor, only wanting to go in 4 hrs a week and get a check, a mayor is a person who reps the town and its people , the mayor should advise the concile what the people want. a mayor should put in more then 4 hrs a week, he/she should be out everyday just checking on the town and its folks, and be the mouth this town needs. it the mayor is not bringing solutions to the table then why pay one, what a waste this mayor has been if thats all she done, and its clear thats all she wants, is that not why ef was brought back. it is clear the current folks running this town are in fits, they did not think mf would get this far, and funny how you all start bashing him whit the letter to the editor came out bashing the mayor for what she is doing. how about we look at city hall for once and see what they are up to. we all are so worried about bashing these 3 we have all looked away from whats going on in town

It is all set by the charter..As for the mayor, she does a fine job...
If you wish to call the little amount of money she gets a month a pay check...call it whatever u wish...I damn sure would not put up with the headache for that little bit of money...If u think one is getting rich u r badly mistaken...Ms. Woods just does not take any bullshit from people that try and run over her or force her what 2 do...Too bad she is not running in this election...she would return as the MAYOR...

Set by the Charter?
Do any of those public officials read the Charter words for words or go by the Charter, words for words, unless they want to?

Do any think if the Charter was read word for word and gone by word for words, they all might be in big trouble and soon in jail if they had been or were breaking the Charter rules?
Would they just claim, they did not read the Charter words for words, was not told, did not know, it was a mistake, if going by the Charter is ever the next Major problem to come out, or they and the city may have?
Did Mayor Woods find out or was told the city was not or could not according to the Charter, going to pay her for doing City Manager Job and be Mayor also, so did she refused to be city manager a 24-7 job to be Mayor when ever and get paid what ever she could?
Did she or who if run the last City Manager off, because she did not want him telling any department heads what was best to do?
You say "to bad she is not running in this election" it sure is!
Would have like to have seen how many votes she would have got?

If any got paid for all those special called meetings wonder what those City Council men make off the City?

Some people really need to wise up and maybe that includes MF if what is being said about him is true. The Mayor of Lewisburg by the (charter) approved by the State Legislature many years ago, clearly states that the Mayor only carries out the wishes of a majority of the council on a voice vote, ordinance, or resolution first approved by that said council. The mayor has no power except to run the monthly council meeting. He/she has no vote and can introduce no ordinances or resolutions, its the LAW. He/she can on his/her own appoint all city boards except the IDB which is appointed by the council. Even on the boards the Mayor has to appoint one Councilman to that board. Boards like the Mayor have no real power except for the water, gas, and electric. They just recommend issues to the city councilman on that board or through the department heads. So hopefully this will clear up some things being said. The Mayor of Lewisburg has no real power except to follow the direction of the Council, its the Law and can only be changed by a majority vote of the Tennessee State Legislature in Nashville being introduced first by a state legislature from this area (Spivey or Tracy) during the opening session of the legislature. Then only after a majority vote approval from the said city council first. Under certain conditions the (charter) does allow the Council to remove an elected Mayor if they choose and if it is in the best interest of the city. This has never been done in the history of Lewisburg though. There is no rule that says how many hours a week the Mayor or Council works a week. Their pay is only $150 a month before taxes. Last but not least it is up to the people living in the five wards of Lewisburg to let THEIR COUNCILMAN know what they want not the Mayor. A lot to think about isn't it.
