All cities, no matter how good they are "rated" have need for improvement, not only by past delinquencies but also changes for future planning. Most of us are saying that the system here is not meeting the expectations of the general public and needs a change. I have researched several other locations in Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky and feel fortunate to live here, for now.<quoted text>
I would hope you would not get flack for loving were you live, really thats what we all want, I for one an happy to hear you love it here, I want to love it as well, but I do see need for change, and some new itdeas never hurt anyone....who said we had to act on ideas, not all can be , but it would be nice to have that choice. Do I think this local good old boy system needs change, yes I for one would like to see the younger folks in office, they claim they can do better, I say lets give them that shot. Really it cant get worse then it has been the last 4 years...Michael Has my vote for the fact that he informed and stood up for what he and others belived in, right or wrong HE STOOD UP.
The high taxes will be my reason to leave..95 counties in this state and we are the third highest in taxes, we give them a tax break but how about their employees. It is easy to say love it or leave it but that comment just pacifies the way this city and county are mismanaged.
