(I'm going to assume the first post was for real)
Well, he DOES have his own mobile billboard for campaigning. All jokes aside, he wears a lot of hats in this little town, and I am curious first on any type of conflict of interest when it would come to appointing boards like the Police Board. I know I will not be the only one to point out his primary business profits directly from who gets arrested in Marshall County (not unlike our lawyers.) I am also aware that he has a few failed business attempts. Fingers got pointed to "red tape" and issues with-in the downtown zoning area. I know that most people who run for any office do it for some kind of self-gain, my question is, HOW MUCH self gain is Mr. Farrar interested in, or is he looking to actually try to help?

I think he, like many, overestimate the power of city mayor. You can look around posts here on topix, he was quite a troublemaker a couple of years ago and would get on here and bad mouth the council and mayor and blame them for his problems. I'm sure he thinks if he can be mayor, he will rule the town. Thankfully, that is not the case.

I don't know what he thinks, but do know some think "Lewisburg needs major change" in the Mayor's Office and City Council to where the people's rights are restored, not a government that does it operates with threats, cover up, and corrucption?

Would the forefathers of this country been considered by some trouble makers?

The Town is rule by 3 people on the city Council! Will he appoint to the boards people who ask questions and then have the power to get the right answers? Not People who don't sit for 6-7 years before any seem to know if they are being over charged for street lights, hundreds of thousands of dollars?

Maybe he help hire and see that all public jobs are posted offered to Lewisburg Citizens and Lewisburg property taxpayer's children!

According to this week's paper the tax rate in Marshall county is the third highest in the state. I recently heard that an auto part supplier located in Pulaski, @ 800 job were created. The city cannot keep a manager and the unemployment rate is up.

Well if Marshall County keeps being run like is it do u think the county soon could be number one as the County with the highest property tax rates and the most unemployed?

Wonder if has the Mayor and City Council tried the Jails for the next city manager's Job, a type of person who might allow more lieing, cheating, and cover ups to operate this City?

I am ashamed to be led by the current administration. As an outsider I feel helpless while the insiders are all protected and benefit from those in charge. Need fresh outside blood. The local government got us in a terrible mess and the local folks allowed it.

This is a person I never heard speak of shopping at home, supporting the community or how can we make newcomers welcomed. You make you own decision.

How do you really feels Michael. Both Farrar and Dalton seem to have agendas going into this election. Dalton even seems to be anti-establishment but look at his brothers' business office and the flag that is hung outside for all to see. Believe the three are close friends.

Both Farrar and Dalton seem to me to be honest, hard working for the good of Lewisburg / Marshall County and the people!
They both remind others of what the forefathers of this country stood for; free speech and rights of the people!
If people want Lewisburg Changed this election is it, get out and vote!
More people need to run for City Council but remember those Derogative Derivatives Dealers deals!

leys see, Dalton arrested on three charges back in december, found guilty on at least one charge. has been thrown out of a council meeting by the mayor and had the police called on him by the downtown alliance fund raiset at halloween. yea, a find upztanding young man.

Farrar forced to close game room for not following ordina.ce, restaurant did not have bathroom on second floor a state code violatipn and at least lone traffic violation in the last month for his taxi service. Yea, what I would call two quality candidates for running or city.

I would hope you would not get flack for loving were you live, really thats what we all want, I for one an happy to hear you love it here, I want to love it as well, but I do see need for change, and some new itdeas never hurt anyone....who said we had to act on ideas, not all can be , but it would be nice to have that choice. Do I think this local good old boy system needs change, yes I for one would like to see the younger folks in office, they claim they can do better, I say lets give them that shot. Really it cant get worse then it has been the last 4 years...Michael Has my vote for the fact that he informed and stood up for what he and others belived in, right or wrong HE STOOD UP.
