<quoted text>Really sassy, if you live in Lewiburg please drive Dalton's office on Second Avenue(his brother) just up from Martin's car lot and look at the large flag flying from his building. It is black/red. If you look it up it is the international sign and flag of an ANARCHIST. Look at the flag next door, an American flag that one of his renters had to get permission to fly in their yard because the Dalton's would not give him permission to fly it from their yard because they must not like the principles of our government. There flag has been stolen a couple of time and they replace it each time. Law enforcement and judges have been asked about the legality of a lawyer flying that flag but they say he has that right even though he is a lawyer making his living defending the indigent(which means we pay for it through state and court fees). While you are at it drive back to 3rd avenue across from Hardison School at look at Ty's house and YARD. To say the least it is a mess. Takes no pride in the way it looks just like his personal character.
Below is the definition of Anarchist. If one doesn't believe in government to begin with then why would he/ she run for an office? Something doesn't add up with the post I've read here. I would personally like to her from this candidate what exactly he believes OR my recommendation would be to VOTE for anyone except him in the election. I don't know anything about his flag flying practices but it seems to me he is either an idiot who has no idea what he even stands for or against or he is remaining quiet about his past in order to gain a position to cause upheaval and turmoil. Again I can only base my opinion on the allege accusations I have read here none of which I have confirmed to be true.

Who is Ty and why do we care if his house is not pleasing to the eye?

Anarchist is not a religion, but a political philosophy.

Christian is the name I go by on topix. I know what anarchist means. Why would he run? try revenge! Been thrown out of LDA meeting by Rev. Carden, thrown out of city meeting by chief of police, doesn't like the rules as they are written, been arrested by police in back in december. I am sure there is more. If a person doesn't take pride in the way he looks, his property, his manners, what makes you think he will work for the best interest of the citizens of this city. Please you don't have to believe me, ask most any law abiding or upstanding citizen that has lived here long, the police, Rev. Carden, people that went to school with him as a student, his former principals and teachers, and public in general. They will give you the answer about his characrer. I am out of here and tired of this, Lewisburg deserves what it gets if he is elected. Chaos, revenge, agendas, and anarchy will be what they get.

Your opinion I respect

Your question should answer all voters questions what does each believe when it comes to doing what is best while in public office for the Citizens of Lewisburg!

So to say Compare Apples to Apples dont listen to gossip!

I think maybe I'm understanding your question perhaps. Are you saying that this candidate is standing for what he believes in by not simply going along with prayer in meetings which would be the easy thing to do? If so I agree with you 100%. If he is not of the Christian faith he certainly is within his rights by not going along with those who are. Those forcing it down his throat however are a different story. They are infringing on his rights by doing so even though his tax dollars are what pays them as a public servant. Placing religious beliefs into government destroys equality.
One thought here. Slaves were originally brought into this country after having been purchased from their on country. Africa saw a need and sold its own people out of self greed. These are the kinds of things that can happen in a country where the people are dictated to. Was America wrong for those purchases? Yes they were and we have paid the price many times over but we must learn history correctly else we may relive it.
I have read your posts long enough to know you have good common sense to understand the points made!
For any opinion yours or mine both would have to know both canidates to make and objective opinion!
I only like you seem pick up on the rights of all as to prayer and the flag to argue those Rights!

You seem angry however I'm unsure why. The other poster and myself were simply providing our opinions. I was asked a question and I answered it. It's not that I believe or don't believe anyone but I prefer to deal in facts. This candidate also deserves the chance to be heard, stand accountable and be recognized for who he or she is without judgement based on his religious beliefs. It's your responsibility to demand answers to the questions pertaining to his government beliefs in order to make a sensible decision on who you choose to vote for. Otherwise, you become part of the problem. Based on much of what I've read here, many had rather complain about the candidates rather than holding them accountable. So rather than work yourself into an angry state because he doesn't believe in YOUR God, maybe you should put that anger into addressing the real issues at hand.

That's all...

Thank you for your kind words. I firmly believe in EQUAL rights for ALL and I further believe while America may not have a perfectly ran government it has the roots to remain strong. History also teaches us that most successful governments stay in place about 200 years before they begin to deteriorate. what we are seeing today is a normal process I believe. Can it be saved? Yes it can. I don't think current Administration has the ability to turn things around but it's possible.

Exactly, that is why I and a lot more people have quit going there. Most all of the older people before I quit would only go to Blossom and not any of the Daltons. I quit going there about two years ago. Tired of hearing him cuss using the F and GD word all the time, berate all our leaders, anti-government, and anti-Christian. You must be him because you take up for him or you have never been around him.
Next, you're gonna tell me that revolution is un-American, right?

And another thing: I can tell from your post you've never spent any time there. I don't know where you Bible thumpers get your hair cut, but they've always talked about controversial shit there - that's what it's for. What do you think women talk about at the salon - recipes?

A reputable barber shop or salon IS NOT in business to provide controversial conversation laced with gutter talk I assure you. The services they provide is what they are in business for. The atmosphere of the interior is created by the owner/operator of said establishment. If the post here are accurate then you can be assured the owner created a place of arguing, cursing, hate and whatever else was mention. Is that how you want you local government ran? Educate yourselves people. That is the reason for my post.

You need to be here, 3 chairs, his dad is there too. Acceptable behavior here. Nothing professional about this place.
I stopped going there 5 years ago and heard nothing changed.

I'm sure everything within those walls is affected by the atmosphere therin. Less clients, less money for improvements, less that can be charged per client, all of the things are affected by making bad business choices. Measure the success of that business and personal life against how one can expect him/ her to preform in an elected position. Very little difference I assure you. If one doesn't expect anything much from the office he or she seeks, then by all means vote accordingly.

Why not hold a public debate between both canidates allowing public questions as well as let each canidate ask each other questions and debate those answers?

Stop all this gossip when people realy don't know all the facts!

If (not so)'young dalton' gets elected as councilman in Lewisburg, it will say alot about the residents in that area. It will say that they are okay with someone who has more of a criminal record than just getting pulled over for tailgating. Please...has anyone checked his record? It will tell all surrounding towns that Lewisburg does not support our Military and our Flag. Sure,'young' dalton has a right to not stand for the national anthem; has a right and freedom of choice to not honor our troups and show respect by removing his hat at a youth softball game when veterans are being honored. If he is elected for councilman, all of Lewisburg will be saying to the neighboring towns that they approve of 'young dalton' dropping the F bomb infront of elementary school children, and he as his wife making a point of disrupting ceremonies honoring veterans. If Lewisburg wants a pot smoking, alcoholic, and drug using councilman who thinks being an Anarchist is "way cool" so be it. At least everyone will know what Lewisburg TN stands for.
