What minimal gov't are you talking about. This is small town Lewisburg. We aren't talking about State or Federal government. Keep your anarchist beliefs to yourself. Also you can have minimal government at any level even if it is not needed as long as an idiot or anarchist is not one of the policy makers.

He had been following that one police cruiser for quite some time. The police pulled over and he passed and then parked and got out and started walking. Believe he knew they were going to blue light him for following when they pull over to let him pass. He was found guilt of following or tailgating but the Judge did dismiss the other charges of not showing his drivers license. We do not live in a police state but there are rules and regulations that you as a civilized person has to obey. He is still not who I would want to represent me and that does not take into account his past problems with the mayor and council and being told to leave after being warned. I do also believe he does not like standing for prayer or the pledge. One other thing, you do need to work on your grammar and sentence structure.

This is more of a police state than you think. You still got to show yur papers on demand. and if you refuse they will give you a hard time until you do something stupid so thy can beat on you, spray you, taz you and then cuff you saying you were disorderly. sure you can get off in court but you still goin to jail and the popo still win.

If you don't put your self in a position that the police need to look at you or your driving habits, then you don't have any problems and the so called police state will not bother you. Now, if you are breaking some sort of law, regardless of how simple it may seem, then you place yourself in the cross-hairs of our law enforcement officers. Most but not all are very good men and would rather not have to stop you for any reason.

Most people probably don't remember this unless you were there or had kin folks at the event. About 5 years ago the Lewisburg Downtown Alliance had a fund raising activity dealing with Halloween with music, lights and a type of horror house. Many young and some older people were involved. Rev. Carden of the Methodist Church was in charge. Ty and a couple of his older friends caused such a commotion (some have said they were throwing things and cussing and in general causing a disturbance) that the good Reverend had to call the police to get them to leave the propery and they originally were there to help. Some help - they were a problem. Don't think they were arrested but the police were called to get them to leave. Ty Dalton for Councilman - What a joke!! Would rather have anybody other that Ty!!

He is way out there people. Thrown out of a city council meeting a few years ago, have been told he doesn't believe in prayer, doesn't really want to stand for the pledge, views of government are as radical as any I have ever heard, personal appearance leaves a lot to be desired for a barber, arrested and found guilty a couple of months ago by the police. If I was a betting man, I would say he has burned a few blunts in his life. I don't think anyone in their right mind would vote for this idiot for city council. Might have to leave Lewisburg if people like him happen to win an election. mcRady is bad enough but at least his views are not radical and he has never been arrested or thrown out of a city meeting and always dresses nicely. In my and other peoples opinion that I have spoken to A VOTE FOR DALTON IS A VOTE FOR ANARCHY. Lewisburg deserves better that his man.

Matthew 6
Jesus Teaching on Prayer
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the street, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter thy closet and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which in secret shall reward thee openly.

How many who pray lead the prayers on Street corners, in Church, or before men, want to be seen of men as men of God, are they really men of the devil and would those lead those who would follow those ways straight to hell?

How many stand before men and pray yet not 5 minutes later do the devils works?

Did Great men through out History, were those like MLK, Jesus stood for the people got thrown out of public meetings, even jailed?
Those who stood even against threats by city officials who did not want them heard?
Have we in Lewisburg / Marshall County now got some public officials from their actions, who don't want to hear what the people have to say and can't sit for 5 minutes to let people speak on any subject they want too at so called what should be public meetings?

Have even retired teachers forgot the Constitution and Bill of Rights?

<quoted text>Voting and having the right to vote has nothing to do with someones grammar on a topix board. These are rights given to every citizen of lawful age according to the Constitutions of the United States and Tennessee. Also, just because they can not spell or punctuate properly doesn't mean that they don't know what they are talking about in trying to tell other people about a particular candidate or person.
Your post is proof of that. Your post is full of errors. Lol.

Did Great men in History stood against those public officials who tried to take Freedoms Away!

Did great men and women march, protest and even complain face threats by City Mayors of Jail just to be heard?

Was one of the Greatest speechs ever made Right here in Marshall County by the County Mayor Was he trying to tell the Veterains on Memorial Day just how Marshall County / Lewisburg City Officials were taking people's rights away, freedoms away?

They both have got to be better than what we have had for the past 12 years, maybe then those on the boards, and the rest will watch each other so close local government will work the way it support too!
A check and balance system!

Give those guys credit and a chance, what are people afraid of, you still got 4 more to check and balance, only 2 too defend and expose!

Is that what people want local Lewisburg government to change but don't want to vote for change?

If for no other reason should people vote for them both, just because of those who seem to be against them?

Do they remind some of the forefathers of America, who stood up for the unrepresented, over taxed, those whose rights are being slowly taken away by local elected officials’ self serving made up rules?

Is a vote for them, if for no other reason would show the others people don't like their made up rules?

We need someone smart and not from the area without baggage. Not being connected and having an ax to grind would be a good idea too. Locals can't see past voting for locals for fear of losing power or favors. If a totally outsider gets in the cans of worms from the past will begin to open and it may be a mess for some.

I know we have a pro-democratic party running the county but we do have one or two folks working within the city gov who can be trusted to do the right thing for the city and the people.
