When a soldier is killed in the line of duty, his family eventually gets a flag and a note conveying sympathy and respect from the United States Government.
When a Black pro basketball player announces he is gay, he immediately gets a personal phone call from the President congratulating him for his courage.

Just the way most Americans want it. Most Americans wouldn't do anything to protect this nation. But complain about what is going on.

Obviously our president needs to check himself also. He portrays himself to be christian so why would he condone being gay
Our military defend us and give us freedom and they put their lives on the line each and every day. Me personally I think that he should compensate our veterans better, they should get better medical treatment, and some of our veterans are homeless. Our president's not just the one we have now have all had to win votes and in order to do this they condone things that they normally or morally would not in order to gets votes. Gay marriage, illegal immigrants, terrorist attacks, whatever gains them votes is what they run with. What happened to protecting the United States and upholding American rights? Our president is a vocal and physical connection for us to the rest of the world. So what other country's see in our president is how they see the rest of us.
