I do. That is what we need. Gambling laws prohibit it.

When will Tn. wake up and stop listening to all the backwoods fundamentalist crazies and stop the flow of money going to N.C. and Indiana, Ohio, WVa.,Fla. Gambling is a business and taxes can be a windfall for government. Same as bars, etc? if you do not like them don't go there? simple? too simple for simple minded people.

For the love of everything that is real... The problem with gambling is that the only ones who can afford such foolish pleasures are the rich. The poor are just throwing away the money they need for food and rent, all in hopes of hitting it big. It is not about entertainment. Quit fooling yourselves and keep gambling outlawed!

What about the lotto? Churches have raffles on items to include guns all the time. Whatja say about dat? Bingo is fun, just as long as they don't allow smokin.

So you must throw your money away to socialize?? Maybe I should invite you all over. You can give me your money and I'll help you socialize with each other. Funny, they do that in bars too, but at least they are getting something for their money. A good buzz.

You're missing the my whole point. Nothing wrong with having fun. But there is no need to throw your money away to do that. If a church needs to do raffles to have money, that is sad. That is like a fast food restaurant that needs to sell toys in order to sell food to adults. How good can the food be if you have to coerce someone to come in the doors? How good is a church if it has to sustain itself by prostituting itself with food and auctions? Money has become their new god.

I could care less about Bingo.

But I cannot even win prizes in ESPN's fantasy sports leagues in Tennessee because it is considered gambling.

That is seriously messed up.
