hey, look at it this way, if it's the same VPs etc, it will be a new shit hole :) Nicer toilet but the crappy part still falls from the top seat. Seriously though, if the leadership always blames the culture of Cosmolab as one of the top reasons, I think their focus is on something intangible when all "ideas" have been exhausted. True leadership from the top always has a way of changing how people feel about what they do and how they do it. If the problem is people below VP level then seems to me a problem they need to look in the mirror to discover the fix. I have worked many places in the USA and always found that competency and good integrity can get people to go that extra mile. The best generals in history have always been the ones out front fighting with their men not the ones talking about it from the safe zone. Back door deals, hidden agendas, uncertainty and general un-trustworthiness doth not make a good company. Time to get rid of all the meetings and talking and get some work done. I feel sorry for those lower level office workers - some are in meetings 50 - 80% of the day. Someone need to figure out how to get organized and get the information to the right people instead of keeping so many tied up talking about issues rather than letting them work on solutions.

I would be working my butt off, doing more than I ever did before. I would work like my job was in risk and my family would starve if I didn't. I would be the first one there, hitting the floor running and would thank my supervisor everyday for the opportunity to work there. The problem is, no one cares, no one has good work ethics, no one knows how to work. Their idea of working and mine are on many different levels. That is why I am enjoying life and they are stuck voting for people who they hope if all else fails, can give them free stuff. Good luck with that. Not looking too good lately, is he?

I feel as you do. My parents taught us that the work we did was a reflection on us. If you are sweeping leaves or building a business. People are going to judge you based on the outcome. People get upset when others are called to do a job and they are overlooked and you hear "they must be doing_______ to get that job". Most of the time it is just someone saw their work ethic. Sad to say now people are mostly feeling out applications for only government help and they are excited to share how much those paychecks are bringing in.

How come this still hasn't been in the local paper. Is this just a rumor? Have they started building or moving anything. I just don't believe this.

"Good luck with all that". Upper mgmnt is quite good at stabbing people in the back. Deplore the way they treat their employees... And SO DO the customers...

For many it has been hell on earth - I don't understand putting more on folks such as PPRD processes to hold the employees responsible for things that can't control - stupid making a person set up a years worth of goals that the company can't be for sure they can even pay for. I don't think anyone appreciates being held responsible for a goal set that the money is not there - only to have that held against them come year end. It has been good only in the sense they have jobs but ridiculous in what they have to put up with to maintain. I think many have the same feeling - like playing Russian roulette. Only a matter of time before the chamber is loaded no matter what you do. The Cosmolab folks - "most" bend over backwards to help the company - no need to place more rules and regulations on a beaten workforce. Implement more freedom and creativity that is not a "process" - might be surprised what people come up with when the status quos regulations are taken off the horse. Look to the successful company that do not burden their folks in filling out useless goals etc and let them work. Same goes for meetings - let them do their job and meet only for the amount of time it takes to get the problem solving started with the right folks - not tie up 5 or more people for hours a day to accomplish what a few e-mails or phone call can do. Let the people do their jobs. Ah, I just wish the economy would improve and these folks could have the opportunity to stop being scared and get somewhere that respects themů

A location was supposed to be announced in the beginning of June-now we are being to it will be announced in 2 weeks! They were looking at other states! The whole thing is shady! I heard They promised every person in NJ that they have jobs, at their same pay scale with benefits and seniority, if they chose to make the move! Sounds like bs to me! Why would they continue to pay high nj salaries when they could hire locally for a lot less? Things just don't add up!

Marvin, agree. From the sales staff perspective; the same. Encouraged to fabricate sales numbers
For "the board" or whatever so as to buy time.
Even though we knew things couldn't be mfg'd, there has under the HM /Tom/ HM regime
Been a longstanding tradition to create "upside " or "placeholder" sales projections to keep heat off uppermost mgmt. clearly this creates havoc in r and d, planning, and throughout- but this is how
The mgmt team "works". Either make up BS numbers or be out of a job ; and the upper echilon
Tries to blackball ex sales from the industry. No luck there, cosmolabs reputation has preceded itself as a liar's company for the last decade.
