No... the OP was right in saying there is no future in Lewisburg. Or in the world for that matter. Sure, be kind, say good morning as you suggest, but in the end, what will you be judged on? Good morals are a good thing to have. It really does make life a little brighter and anything that makes our day better is a good thing. But what is your future? What is anyone's future?Attitude is every thing around here. Speak to people, make eye contact. Say Good morning, afternoon...... or whatever.
We are the master of our own destiny and we make all the choices... in which direction we move from moment to moment. We can choose to move with the crowd like sheep to the shears or we can stake our own ground and be defiant and make our own roads. But to where are we to go?
Wish upon a star, but remember, that star you are looking at is long ago dead. Yes, it is that far away from us that even though it is long ago dead, it's light in only now reaching us. When we see a star go out, it did so millions or billions of years ago. What about you? Your light is still alive and bright. What will you do before it too burns out?
