The guy who owned it ran in to money problems. He owned the one in chapel hill and lewisburg they both are shut down.

I will say about dominos, I'm not sure what day it was, It was back in august, I was going to go get pizza for my wife, my mom and I and I walked in and they siad that they were going to be closed for the day because they where under a new owner. My guess is that the new owner closed them down.

Just watch all the stores on the square, I known of one in bankruptcy now, we were in court together, and more to come in this town.

That is the truth. What is the city officials doing about it? Allowing more taxes and fees to ensure a timely closure of the business?
Look at the tickects this city and county could collect for tailgating, parking in the wrong direction on the side of the road and driving without a seat belt. All 3 of those offenses are not enforced in the city or county.
City/county vehicles are the worst offenders.

It is sad that businesses closing is happening all around us. Obama and our county/government officials are not going to be saving anyone. If small business owners want to live through this, they have to plan and prepare - and use a good bookkeeper or accountant. Right now, spending $ on anything extra can really ad up - but using a good bookkeeper is a must and could actually help save businesses.

You can say that again. The people who have money do not spend it in Lewisburg. Those who do spend their dollars, do not spend it with outsiders who come here for a new start and try to get this place back on it's feet.
Our Chamber of Commerce and how they operate will help take us down. Hey, then we can rent out our building to low cost housing residents and attract more of the same.

Not all of us are like that. If I knew what your business was and it was something we needed or wanted my wife and I would always go to you above an out of town place!

Thats a lie. i know 5 people who worked at Dominos and noone knew what was coming. Why would they tell you that if they didn't tell their own employees?
