Doesn't anyone research anymore? Or do you all just go with whatever you think? Here is a little education for you.

Ladybug facts: They are called "Asian" Lady bugs. They were introduced in '79 and are great for killing aphids which helps farmers. These bugs are actually our friends. Here is why they are acting as they are:

In their native home, large numbers of lady bugs overwinter in mountains and craggy outcrops. Because we do not have the granite mountain features that the beetles seek to pass the winter (they live 2-3 years), they are attracted to light-colored houses on the horizon that mimic the usual hibernation sites. Occasionally they will bite people as a way of obtaining salt. Because it invades homes in October in preparation for overwintering they are also known as the Halloween lady beetle. They stink because of their blood. The beetle has a chemical defense to discourage predators. This foul-smelling chemical is also present in their hemolymph (blood) and the beetles will "reflex bleed" when agitated, releasing hemolymph through the joints on their legs. This discharge will also cause staining.

But these bugs are good for us, and only a pest inside at this time of year. You can vacuum them up and then dump them outside. Some will die, but that is the price they pay. To keep them outside, be sure to seal all cracks and holes they are coming inside by. In fact, if they are getting inside, this is a sure way to know your house is not seal enough to keep your heat or A/C in. So you see, these bugs are doing us a favor.

Sorry I'm so hard on the pansies on this site. Sometimes I just get tired of the stupidity level and lash out. I can't tell if they are stupid from lack of education, pure laziness or both.

You did not have to answer. If could of given an answer without being a jerk, but you decided to take the low road.
I own a company and I answer all sorts of questions, A lot of them are sillier than what was asked here, but I have enough respect for people to give them a nice answer. I know none of your friends are my friends, if birds of a feather do flock together.

Oh boo hoo. And you could have left my post alone as well. This is not a company it is a forum. Stupid people need to be told they're stupid because sometimes it pushes them to do what they should have done. Work. Do the work themselves instead of looking for the easy way out. That is the trouble with people, they are too busy doing nothing. And thanks for judging my friends based on me. Based on this forum. Maybe on this forum you pretend to be a nice boss, but in reality you just give them nice pat answers and tell them to get back to work. Maybe you're not a boss at all. Maybe I'm a saint to those I associate with. Maybe I have more patience with those who use their head for something other than a place to store white matter. Think about that.

It is going to be cold this winter. Has it ever been recorded as having a hot winter in Lewisburg?
The weather here varies year to year as well as week to week. Some years we have lots of snow and some none at all. I've seen over a foot of snow here before with I65 closed all the way to Alabama! Sometimes we get temps in the 20's and even teens only to have 60's and 70's the next week with threats of tornadoes! The reason I like living here is because no matter how cold it gets, I know a warm spell is right around the corner. Of course with the wacky weather this past couple of years world wide, there is no telling. Hurricanes in the Atlantic have been WAY down this year compared to what was predicted. That season ends in November. We could be in for some dry weather this winter, but who knows. It really depends on the Jet Stream.
