Me? I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! I can't wait to do the math extrapolation to understand how big my employees' raises will be! Let's see, we have half of one percent differential to work with...yeah, looks good!:-) Break out the party hats and balloons...how much is a new bass-boat? I'll cut a memo in the morning...hire hire hire!! Besides, the economists attesting to actual unemployment rates of 13-15% are just partisan party-poopers, we can have "Seal Team 6" take their sorry asses out!! what the hell do they know, anyway? Our president is spending upward of a trillion dollars a year..how could we ever fail? LMAO!:-))
OW, the way I see it, the record highs in the stock market are happening because the Fed is constantly printing more money. This makes everything worth more Dollars while,, at the same time, devaluing the Dollar. So while everything is worth more Dollars and the Dollar being worth less we are, at best if that, breaking even. Incidentally, all this printing of new money only helps the portfolios of people who are heavily invested in the stock market, making them appear richer. It does not help the average person with their 401K that much because they do not have enough in the market to be affected by it. It also hinders the poor more because it causes everything they buy to be more expensive.

You're actually hoping that this Country goes into banruptcy, just because of your hatred of one Man...OBAMA! That makes you a Traitor, IMO!
If your "Business" fails, it'll be because of your Poor Management and warped thinking and actions...and no other reason!
Anybody who thinks like you do, shouldn't own a business, anyway...so, it was doomed from the start!
If you want to save it, you better hire somebody to run it for you before you lose everything...is my advice...because you incapable of making good business decisions...too bias in your thinking and views to make rational decisions about anything. You are only capable of seeing one side of any issue, YOUR side and that's it! Plus, you get enraged if you don't get your way about EVERYTHING! That's means that your not a rational thinker because Nobody gets their way all the time, not even you! Lose the "God-like" complex, would be a good start for you and realize that you're just a Human, like the rest of us...flawed and prone to make mistakes!
You talk like you are an expert on this matter. How many successful businesses do you own?

This is funny. I always heard that the first thing Hitler and the Nazi's did was to disarm the people. It is the facist socialists on the left that want to do that. The right fights FOR gun rights of individuals.

I read some of the info. you posted about on GMO's and I tend to agree that there may well be unintended consequences of all that genetic manipulation.....although I am a LONG way from a scientist. I'm not happy with Monsanto lawing farmers for replanting seed harvested last year, and the Roundup resistant super weeds are now a problem in most farm fields.
Those points of agreement with you aren't enough for old "Hey" though.....In order to have a conversation with you, a poster has to subscribe to all of your conspiracy theories....911, FBI false flag operations, and every other conspiracy that has ever been dreamed up by those I consider a bunch of nuts.
Now, I will stand up for your right to believe and post anything you want....that is American at it's core....but if you want anyone to take anything you post seriously, I respectfully suggest you accept the fact that on SOME issues, some posters, myself included, think you are pretty far out there.
I said I was wondering about the Boston bombings because of the same patterns it was taking .Things coming out by the so called conspiracy nuts that were denied by FBI etc which later on were admitted to.
When you have 17 out of 20 terror plots in the US in 10 years that come to light as FBI involved I would say(and the education I received tells me and others that this could be another FBI spin.
It would be showing a lack of intelligence to see the past history of what has gone on and NOT WONDER.
As far as 9/11 goes, the firefighters, the family members who lost loved ones, building evperts, etc, etc, gave their reasons as to why they see problems with the official stories on some parts of 9/11 and I can see where they are coming from.If they were going against what God of truth and an all knowing God would say then one might put more weight to the official story. Is that really where those fine folks in DC or Big Corp. are coming from? These others who are questioning these things have credibility and it appears reality on their side,Does this make them fools and therefor me also?

I still cannot understand why they spent 20 hours after the shootout doing a house by house search for suspect #2 instead of letting their K9's track him from the abandoned SUV to his hiding place. There was even a blood trail. I'm sure he even had traces of explosives on him that would also be trackable. Why would they do a house to house search instead?

Congratulations to Obama for having saved the rich from the recession. They are getting richer everyday in the stick market. For the rest of us. Itís not so good.

The unemployment rate is down, however the number of unemployed is up. Sounds like double talk, doesnít it?

The real fact is that 9 million people have left the workforce, so they are no linger counted in the unemployment rate. At the same time the number of people getting government assistance has gone through the roof. Betcha they didnít make much from yesterdayís historic stock market news.

Hereís another thing to think about. At one time, most of the jobs in this country were created or provided by small businesses, that play two critically important roles in our economy. One, they tend to give new workers their first employment experience. Two, small business tends to train workers who are then able to move up the job ladder to better paying corporate jobs, having learned the ropes at a small business.

Entrepreneurs and small businesses are being absolutely devastated by rules, regulations, red tape, and by oppressive levels of taxation. Consequently, the percentage of Americans that are working for themselves has never been lower in the history of the United States.

http://www.kauffman.org/newsroom/number-of-fi...

So while you may look at the recent stock market activity as an indication that the economy is coming back, the real indicators of economic health arenít doing very well, and the outlook is even worse.

How dare you think for yourself. MSM will tell you what you need to know.
You are suppose to just listen and shut up and go back to sleep and if you don't well you are some kind of nut, racist, etc and you best get on the medication.
That is a good question though.

Yes, I'm glad somebody gets it! This is their plan and its progeny is long. America will soon realize she is at war!

OF THE MOSCOW ORGANISATION OF THE R.C.P.(B.)
DECEMBER 6, 1920" (Excerpts)

"We, however, gained time, in the course of which the formation of the Red Army began. Even the tremendous distress suffered by the Ukraine proved reparable, although at a heavy price. What our antagonists had counted on, namely, the rapid collapse of Soviet rule in Russia, did not come to pass."

Page #452
We are conducting a kind of industrial propaganda when we say to the master class: "You capitalists are useless; while you are going to rack and ruin, we are building in our own way; so don't you think, gentlemen, it is time to come to terms with us?" To which all the capitalists of the world will have to reply, though grudgingly: "Yes, perhaps it is. Let us sign a trade agreement."

Page 455
I pass to the next point. Concessions create new dangers. I shall mention what I said at the beginning of my speech, namely, that an outcry is going up from the rank and file, from the working-class masses: "Don't yield to the capitalists; they are clever and crafty." It is good to hear that, because it is a sign of the development of that vast mass which will fight the capitalists tooth and nail.

Hi OT,
This is one area we will have to disagree on. For instance, regarding #2, short term capital gains are taxed more heavily than long term capital gains. That incents investors to hold their investments longer. I don't exactly know what you mean by a passive investment, but our current tax policy incents any and all investment, i.e,. IRA, Roth, 401k, lower taxes on capital gains and dividends, etc. It really doesn't favor one type of investing over another, it simply entices investment whether it be individuals or corporations.
Regarding #3, if corporations aren't staffed to an efficient level, they lose money. They can't make as much, can't distribute as much, etc. I agree, corporations aren't currently maintaining a full staff, but I don't think it is because they want to. Most corporations are waiting to see what the full effects of our new healthcare laws are going to be before determining what level of staffing they want. I am by no means a large corporation, but I am doing that and it is of my opinion that if I'm doing that, there are others. Some have publicly stated they are doing this. When you have a rather large payroll tax looming on the horizon, corporations are going to take the conservative approach to hiring until they can figure out exactly what the tax is and what balance will be optimal between output and labor costs.
I realize you probably don't agree with what I have said, but I do enjoy hearing your viewpoints on subjects such as these even though they may be different than mine. Hope you have a great weekend!
I will use round numbers but you will get the idea. I (and I am sure you as well) have SUBSTANTIAL money invested in my own business. Here is what I mean by passive investment versus active investment. If I actually work at my business, and I do.. I owe 15% of my income up to 100k in payroll taxes and then I owe up to say 35% income tax on my salary, but if I instead invested that substantial sum in a passive investment, stocks, bonds, rental property, my entire take would be subject to the capital gain rate only and capped a 20%(it was 15% until this year). Working, costs me a potential 45 or so percent in Federal Taxes and "investing" costs me 20....what are we incentivising "Pete" ?
With those kind of numbers, is it any wonder that money flows to the next big thing with a capital gains tax rate attached, as opposed to building a business or providing a service ?
My point in number 3 was that with the high unemployment numbers we have in this country, and with the flat wages that those who have jobs are and have been experiencing, BIG corporations are enjoying lower labor costs. I did not mean that they were understaffed....but that they are getting a labor bargain compared to times of full employment, when wages usually must rise in order to attract the best candidates to fill positions. That improves their bottom line, and we know that the bottom line drives the stock market.

You may still not agree and that's fine, but this post will clarify what I meant. I hope you a great weekend as well my friend !

Another thing, these socialists like Sassy and Overtaxed actually believe that "most" Americans favor "sensible gun control measures". While this 20 hours of house to house search went on and everybody was told to stay inside, you think all those 'Americans in favor of sensible gun control' were clutching their golf clubs to get ready for a killer to come in the door?

Or, were they getting any and every firearm they had abailable?

The problem with socialists is that they are stupid and think that they know better than you how to take care of you.

You wouldn't know a Socialist if one walked up and tried to slap some sense into you...which isn't a bad idea, now that I think about it.

If you really knew what a Socialist was, you wouldn't be as poor as you are and, you wouldn't keep fighting for the Dictator Wannabees that live all around you and are doing everything they can to keep poor and subservient to them. You're not a Human Being to them, you're just a Useful Tool. Once your usefulness to them is over, they'll take everything you have and throw you away like yesterday's Newpaper.
