<quoted text>Honestly, I do understand that there is no way that I will change your mind on this issue.
As I see other Americans in my own County preparing for "Doomday", I just don't say anything because they already know how I feel.
I still remember the Cuban missile crisis and how that affected the mind-set of many Americans.
For myself and my family we will just keep moving forward and never look back, because if we do, I know we will trip and fall.
I too rem. the Cuban crisis and there was nothing that could have been done. As you well know there some that had money and they built bomb shelters. Did they know that a direct hit with a nuke would fry every thing down to at least 100 feet under ground and with concrete? Don't think they cared!

NOW-The guns. Is very different. When they talk of shutting down the sale of guns from one person to another or gun shows, they are fixing to take them away. When they talk about shutting down the ability for me to hand down my guns to my sons and daughters, they are fixing to take them away. Once they start talking about having to have a permit to own any gun, they are fixing to take them away. The scare of 2000 was small compared to this. I know you cannot see it because they are using you. Through you and others like you, they are fixing to take them away. Look at this way, For a socialist gov. to work ECONOMICALLY(at least for a while) some 30 million people will have to die. The system cannot support these unproductive people. These will be the ones that cannot work or will not work, criminals plus the people (conservatives) who will die with a gun in their hands when they take them away. Hey, this leaves a cleaner (Liberal) world for you. Hope you can make it work. It has never been done in history of the world.

No I am not going off the deep end. I get a little melancholily every now and then. The time line for the above, I do not know. They may work things out but I do know that each time this comes up, they add more and more regs to it. Now couple that together with a super Dem/Lib majority in both houses and you have the potential. Put in place military leaders that are dem/libs and you have the potential. The silent majority could stop this madness if they would protest very loudly like you dem/libs do. You are only 25% of the population. Instead they sit back, wait for the inevitable to happen.

So you are saying you interviewed people from shootings across the nation ? Come on now you foolish old fart. All you know is what the media allowed you to see and read. Stop trying to be an authority on this subject because your days of glory are long gone. No one in 2013 wants to listen to or read the beliefs of someone your age living in the past. Give it up fossil. You are an example of what was. Today things are much different. You lived your life now shut you wrinkled pie hole and let us live ours. Most likely anything further than a few years want affect you anyway.
Reading comprehension is not one of your best traits.

I think you are building a bridge too far. YEARS ago, my grandfather told me that when automobiles first came on the scene, there was no law requiring a license to drive one...when states began to require drivers licenses, did that mean they were fixing to take them away ?
When they began requirig owners to register their vehicles, did that mean they were fixing to take them away ?
Those licensing and registration requirements weren't done because government wanted to take them away...they were done to provide a modicum of safety by trying to keep unsafe drivers off of the road, in response to damage done by irresponsible drivers, and to allow a person damaged by a driver to track down the owner of a vehicle that had caused damage. IF responsible gun owners could police the nuts with guns, and stop the carnage done by irresponsible ones....there would not be any need for more regulations. Unfortunately, they haven't been able to...so far. Now a lot of the public is fed up with the Newtowns etc. and some are demanding SOMETHING be done....what still remains to be seen, and we all can help to craft that "something" or we can hollar the sky is falling and throw that "socialist" label around.

1st - there is no right to cars, just like there is no right to healthcare.

2nd - It is not the job of 'responsible gun owners' to police the nuts with guns. It is the job of state governments and the federal government to enforce the existing 20,000+ gun laws already on the books.

FYI: Gun prosecutions under Obama/Holder are DOWN 40%.

But, we need another law - to not enforce.

“I want to tell you Socialists,” he said,“that I have studied your philosophy … I have kept close watch upon your doctrines for thirty years; have been closely associated with many of you,… And I want to say that I am entirely at variance with your philosophy … Economically, you are unsound; socially you are wrong; industrially, you are an impossibility.”

I am not hearing much of anything about the damn drugs these people were on in these mass shootings.
These chemicals mess with the brain. In some it creates agitation, the inability to be still, there is the need to do something, anything, there is rage and hostility.
It could be an ax a hammer a pipe a gun.
Where is the outrage on this? There is nothing in the MSM on this.I suppose if there were Big Pharma would pull the ads and how well would that go over.
What happened after 9/11 we got the Patriot Act,Spying of Americans, molestation at the airports(and I'm Sure in many other places to come). We have The NDAA,we have on and on and on.
THe Patiot Act was written before 9/11 the NDAA would not see the light of day. We know how that went.
I do not believe any thing they say about anything I just watch how it all unfolds and it's there in the outcome where you find your answer.

Now we will have Psychiatrists as the new watchers and after seeing how these vets are being sent to the mental wards for speaking against 9/11 or other things and when the outcome of the mental health gang will be more of these drugs I don't have much faith in this outcome.
I would suggest buying stock in Big Pharma cause someones going to get mighty rich on this and it might as well be you.

I'm still trying to make sense out of this relationship we have with Communist China because to me they are a country I still hear talk of having the chance of missels flying either way.Basicaly a potential enemy, perhaps a chance of war.
And yet we borrow money from these people,we help build up their country by helping move our jobs there. We now invite them to come one come all to the US.Please buy our ports our land our towns and yes please buy up our domestic oil and gas supplies. And of course there is the trade deficit.
It would be a good idea to fix that.
The way we deal with Al Qaeda looks the same.We help them here we help them there then we fight them in all those places.
And y'all want to trust these folks with our guns?

Folks, this is the Attitude and Mindset that's causing the Republican Party to continue destroying itself. They live in their own little World of denial, while trying to control everything and everybody around them. That's called a "Oligarchy"!
