New to the area and just wondering if there is a fireworks display in town?
Thanks for Asking

No there isn't. I think you have to go to mississippi for firecrackers. Haven't seen any here in years. Thanks for asking. But, I sure miss all the dogs barking, people worried about having their properties burned to the ground by stupid people who can't affoid to pay their own bills who get welfare and food stamps. The same people who always have money for smokes, cheap beer and firecrackers but can't pay their own bills. Again, thanks for asking, though.

Wasteful ways brings woeful wants aren't Fireworks such a waste!

Do those fireworks cause more pollution of the air,by harmful chemicals released into the air we all need to live!

Does Fireworks Displayes just add to Globle Warming effects?

Pound for pound fireworks do not add a measurable amount to alleged Global Warming. Wood clearing (removing live trees and burning them) does more to damage the environment. Cows do the same. Still, fireworks are a tradition and will not soon go away, so the best you can do is stay home and close your curtains until it's over, and quit raining on someone else's parade.

Just think how long and how much after those major fire's out west may add to globle warming!

Fireworks are such a waste one loud boom and gone AIR POLUTION!

So much good could be done if all that wasted money went toward lowering County and city Debts, feeding the hungry and sick!

That website is totally biased and has no real science to back it up. Many of the chemicals it lists are burned up and are no longer as they were in the raw state and many chemicals that were considered toxic have been replaced by safer ones. On the grand scale of pollution, fireworks are very low on the list. Cutting them out would be a plus just as cutting out fast food restaurants that do much worse in polluting our air, but the results would have no effect on global warming as a whole. Volcanoes, and forest fires are some of the worst contributors along with factories and cars, and mass transportation and shipping transits. As for the money, there is massive waste in government, but I need to see that tax money is actually being used. My understanding is a lot of private funding is use and I think you will also find that private backyard buyers and users far out weigh what the city/county spends. Good luck in stopping that commerce from occurring.

How about we enjoy the earth as we know it and do our part no matter how small in trying to save the earth from Globle Warming?

Lets leave the earth cleaner and better than we found it so our children and their children's children will be able to enjoy it too!

Is Global Warming the beginning of Hell Fires heating up for all those non believers, who can find excuses of why hell may not exist and fireworks seem to them a necessary pleasure, more so than feeding the hungry?

What about the former global warmings the Earth has experience? This isn't the first. But now you are just going off topic. As for feeding the hungry... where are these people at? Hope you are not referring to the lazy butts too good to find a job. The money spent on fireworks would in no way be spent on any food program if it is city/county money anyway. You are just making up stuff to poo-poo our Country's celebration. If you don't like it here, move.

I do believe that the Earth is having a climate change and that different zones will become warmer. We know about droughts and flooding but do we really understand what is happening in the changes around the Earth. The seasons do something to all forms of life. We know different humans lived on this Earth. What changed? What caused it to change? The dinosaurs are extinct. Global Warming or Global Cooling is nothing to joke about. Air pollution is serious.
Fire crackers already at a popping.
