Once again, proving that rumors are quicker than fact. They have upped it from 5 chares of the pictures to 7. Take the time to learn the Internet and check the courts yourself. And they added three charges of sex with minors.

While I am angry too, I certainly think we need to look at how far WE ALL fall short of being worthy of God's forgiveness. None of us deserves forgiveness on our own merit, but I am thankful that I have a loving father that forgives me for my sins. And his forgiveness is even available for Mike if he humbles himself before God and man.

Remember, David was "a man after God's own heart" and he had sex with a wife of his soldier, got her pregnant and then had the husband killed by sending him to the front line. Saul persecuted Christians before his conversion. Moses took a man's life out of anger. And God forgave them all and they wrote the majority of the Bible. I don't say this to defend Mike's sins or to even make light of it. His crimes are quite honestly one of the worst things I can think of anyone committing, but we should be careful not to exalt ourselves in our own eyes, by thinking that someone is not worthy of forgiveness. We should be thankful that we serve a gracious God who loves all of us enough, though we on our own merit are not worthy. For we have all sinned and fallen short of His glory.

Kilgore T, just so you know they did not add the additional charges because of pictures. They added them because of them coming forward, anyone can come forward. If they had hard evidence would they have lowered the bond ammount? The pictures they got was from 1 boy, however iif you look at the jail booking they dropped 4 charges. I think we know as adults there are 3 sides of the truth, his story their story and obviously the truth. Everyone can say one thing or another however MOST of the time not all of the truth comes out, not even after trial. I think we all know in our society that once you get arrested its not innocent until proven guilty its guilty until proven innocent. I have known the family for 28 years now, they are some of the nicest people you will ever know. His wife is the sweetest lady you will ever meet and their kids are just the same. Did mike make some HUGE mistakes yes, however I dont condone what the accusations are. If he did do what they are saying then he deserves to be punished.. The media builds things up as we all know, but rest assure GOD knows what really went on and there is no hidding from that. I just hope that people dont treat his family diffrently for mistakes Mike made, tehy didnt do anything wrong. And well they are doing what any family memeber would do for their father and that is standing behind him. Does taht make them bad people?? No, that makes them human..

God will forgive mike's sins but he will have to answer for them. Also I believe there is a difference when someone is "caught in a sin" THEN confessing and asking for forgiveness than someone that "confesses their sin" on their OWN. I know God doesn't see it that way but I as a human feel this way.

I don,t think any charges were dropped but soneone apparently dropped the ball.. If I'm not mistaken the 48 hr rule came into effect because he wasn't charged in the time the law allows. CRIMINALS have toooo many rights. Did mike even for once consider his family? Did his sexual gratifation come before God, church, his children, grandchildren,family & friends & most of all the undeserving precious victims. Children robbed of their youth & innocense. Apprently!! God entrusts children to us & and to take this trust & turn it into something disgusting & EVIL will be punished. To stand in God's presence "pretending"....does noone believe in HELL anymore. I am sure God's heart is broken more than anyones. Lord forgive us all!

It's kind of sickening to get on here and read people saying that "he should be given the death penalty" and such things of that nature.

Take a step back. Put someone from your family/friends in that situation. Would you be saying the same things?

All sins are equal. Not one sin is greater than the other.

There is a story in the bible about a woman who committed adultery and the people of her town wanted to stone here. Jesus came to her, and the people stopped throwing the stones. Then he said that whoever had not committed a sin in their life and was "perfect" could pick up the first stone and throw it. All of the people gathered had left. Not one person in this world is perfect. So, who are you to judge Mike Windham and say these horrible things about him? An accusation was made and it is being investigated. I could accuse anyone right now of such a crime and I'm sure you all would make the same comments whether it was true or not because we all point the finger even when the facts are not exactly true.

Innocent until proven guilty.

IF, I repeat IF, Mike is found guilty then he should serve his time for what he did. But, I will not turn my back against him, or his family. Everyone makes mistakes, some bigger than others.

You all should be ashamed of the things that your saying. I also think it is unnecessary to post his address along with this post. His life isn't just an open book because of his crime (if he is guilty). He has a wife that has been through enough as it is. She shouldn't have to suffer too because people online want to bash her husband and post THEIR address on a website.
