"Patrols have been alerted and increased because of the issue, Barth said. There is also an increase surveillance, he said." Hmmmmm? Isnt this also in the vicinity of the "White Rose"? I am sure the patrols will be increased now! And what kind of surveillence? Better look out or the ACLU will be on the City! We never heard how patrols or surveillance was increased when that little girl was shot down!

because we've elected officials who are short-sighted & grab grant money, build projects, etc., while being oblivious to the long-term consequences of increased crime & a lower quality of life for us decent people. businesses & decent people move out & the process snowballs to irreversible proportion

Seen mayor do nothing on TV today. Instead of raising the sales tax lower the pay of the useless police. You are forced to be a juror and they can't even watch your property.

Its not the police that are useless! It is Commissioner Whitless and the Mayor not allowing them to be useful!

Did anyone see the article the other day regarding the beatings and robbies in the city commited by juveniles. The names of the criminals could not be printed because of the age as juveniles. The oung scum had no problem commiting the crimes often injuring victims causing such bodily harm they needed medical attention and at times hospitalized. There was a time that seems long ago long ago that their names could be pubished and parents were responsible for their childrens actions to the extent those kids thought twice about commiting such crimes again.

Where is the intersection of South Beaver and West Philadelphia? It's not in York, North Beaver crosses West Philadelphia in York city. You can see these idiots walking up and down the street and looking into every car to see if there is anything worth stealing, all the cops need to do is set up bait cars or follow these idiots and snag them, they aren't exactly covert.

Keep your valubles out of sight- this won't deter all theives from stealing, but it won't give them obvious choices if everything is OUT OF SIGHT.
By the way this has nothing to do with "baby-making savages...".

To your 2nd part it would be to much work for the police to use a tactic that would work. Also if this tactic were implemented it would then make less cime in York and therefore need less police and in turn lower taxes. Always reasons behind the madness of York City.
