paranormal encounter of the warm kind

One afternoon I went to my room to lay down for a nap and said casually to my dead Mother, whom I often speak to, "Come lay down with me, Mom, will ya'?" I laid on my bed and got comfortable and suddenly felt a warm wave break slowly over my body from my feet upward toward my head. Tears were poring from my eyes but I was not crying. By the time the wave of heat hit my face I instinctively knew that it was my Mother and I took a very deep breath. I held it for a second and exhaled, as soon as the last molecule of air was forced from my lungs, the tears stopped and I sat up in my bed not tired at all anymore. I always heard that ghosts put of a very cold feeling and that's how you knew one was near. In my case that was not the case.
