Joby and Denton were not bad players, they just didn't play in a time when PB threw the ball very much like Gillen, Aymond and Boudreaux. Hard to believe the offense is so different now!

I heard Joby's Dad(Jimbo)was a damn good receiver back in the day...I think he played when PB used to have a passing game!

He was good...I remember seeing him catch 4 TD passes in one game...When was the last time PB completed four passes in a game?

Shane and Troy were probably the best. I watched tape on them, they were damn good. Shane had Carlos Mistric and Jimbo to throw to and Troy had Jimbo. I played on the same team as Joby and he threw for just over a 1000 yards which in this day of Port Barre football is alot. he didn't even have 100 pass atempts in the season so i would say he did alright

Joby also ran the ball very well. He wasn't the biggest, strongest, or fastest but he had heart. But like I said Shane and Troy by for and William Davis after them

I agree...Boudreaux and Troy completed dozens of passes per game. It was nothing for PB to throw the ball on fourth down and convert back then.

I agree...those guys were all pretty good too!

I can understand the voting of the top six in this poll if you take Joby out! It is an absolute joke to think that he deserves votes over anybody on this list other than maybe Denton...I decided.

Best Running QB- William Davis
Best All Around QB- Mike Kaiser

I know most of the people on this poll don't remember him but he was the best all around.
