Like I had mentioned before in my first post, you must not be in a hurry or really even hungry when you go there haha. A trip there should only precipitate from boredom.

As I've mentioned I use to live there for several years when I was a teenager. I then realized that the hiawatha McDs is the twilight zone of fast food. Within those doors, Common sense and everything we learned in kindergarten no longer matter. Soap and shampoo lose their effectiveness and hairbrushes just dont seem to exist.

You open this door with the qeasy key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension. A dimension of grease. A dimension of skank. A dimension of vacant mind. You're moving into a waiting line of both large shadows and substance abuse of drugs and bad ideas. You've just crossed over into...The Twilight Zone.

That show was quie a while before my time but I still like it :)

For god sakes take your sick children home, and dont feed them mcDs until they can cognitively realize what they are putting in their bodies. I like McDs, but i know im asking to be fat, they dont.

I forgot to mention that yes there is some serious white trash in hiawatha, buuuuut there are good people to just like any other town. Granted the ratio is a tad higher, but if you wanna see a REAL sh|tty town, go tour falls city. THAT place, my friends, is the anus of Nebraska. Can I get an amen??

I can totally understand your thinking but we were over 100 miles from home and it's a little hard to pull away when other cars and a semi are parked and waiting all around you. Catch my drift??? Believe me if I could have I would have and not wasted my gas for over an hour!!!

You get more stupid being in the building or breathing the air coming out of the drive through window. When I go there for my semi-annual retard show, it takes a couple hours of drooling and staring for the neurotoxins to wear off once I make it out of there.

There was a semi beside us, like hauling cows and the Mc.D's semi tuck bringing in the food. There still was other car's after that that had went round to get in line without going to the order window. Kind of like can't get thruogh, follow the leader. Must happen often. Beside what are you the McDonals Manager or why else would you defend them os hard? You probably are the Manager, the one who was too scared and cowardly to face the customers like me.

I've just read these comments and am sitting here in awe that people are such idiots to actually sit in line for more than a few minutes to get a greaasy hamburger, which I'm pretty sure had already been prepared, wrong I might add, an hour or so before hand. Does anyone think that these people take pride in their work? I mean, honestly, even the management doesn't take pride in the place. I have been there, and see the type of people whom they employe, dopeheads, jailbirds, loud mouth teenagers who have no respect for anyone. I don't take my family there anymore, it's just gone downhill since that Caroline Sekler was there, no one cares anymore.

You are indeed correct. But dont forget the entertainment to be had while waiting. Its not all that bad when you really watch and listen while you are there. Dont go through the drive through, you'll miss out!

OH, there is ALWAYS drama there also. There is a big blond hussy with no teeth also, who usually is there, screaming at the customers that it isn't her fault their food is screwed up. Then, there is usually the fat lady in blue standing in the way of the people who are trying to get you your cold food before it gets colder. SEE, there IS a show no matter where you go!LOL!

Has anyone went inside to order and watch McDonald employees scatter after you order. There is no organization what so ever. They are running into each other. It looks like one big cluster @#$%! If the employees are not scratching their head, trying to figure out how that mic works, trying to figure out how to make a shake or figuring out how that metal instrument goes into the french fry cardboard holders we as customers may not have to wait 20 minutes for our food. What do they get paid anyhow.
