anyone that chooses a drug over their child needs to have them taken away until such time they get treatment and are clean.

i've known a few "meth heads" and support, while necessary, doesn't take them very far. the only thing that works is tough love and rehab.

oh, and that's very "christian" of you to pray for us "scumbags." thank you.

so, you're saying that their kids should have to suffer through the parent's addictions and go without food and proper clothing, neglect, etc?
i know for a fact 3 of my son's friend's parents are meth heads. i know for a fact that these kids don't have the proper guidance and care. why would you defend people like this?

If you know of parents that are doing drugs and they have children in their home you should report them to SRS! Yes their children might get taken away and put into foster care but, won't they be better off than living the way they are?? To know that parents are neglecting their children and to not report it would be insane. Think of the children first in all these circumstances.

Being a foster parent myself I know that if the parents want to get help they can!! All they need to do is let someone know!!

If every child was taken away from every parent that did drugs while raising a child, we would have nothing but full foster homes.

Id bet there are many, many parents that do the joint at a concert thing, or the weekend bong hit while the kids are at grannys .

And I do have to ask, does this include addiction to perscribed drugs also should these parents be reported?

weed occaisionally is not that big of a deal...i'm talking about the parents that don't give a shit about where their kids go, because they're tweaking all the time. prescription drugs can be just as bad. when your addiction causes problems with how you parent or provide for your child, then it becomes a problem.

the point i was trying to make is that those aren't the kinds of parents that need their kids taken away...its the hardcore meth heads and alchies that don't give a crap about their kids and let them run the streets. i have reported them...and will keep doing it.

I think that this town needs something that are teenagers can do on the weekends other then country cruise and get high. and hoe is it that are homing coming king was with others and got busted, his crown should come off and the other runner up should get the crown, cause the king isnt setting a good example...

there have always been drugs its just coming out in the open more and more thats all. and with the new sheriff in town he is cracking the whip and catching them. they can fight it all the want but it will always be a problem. drugs are an addiction and will never go away so might as well get use it folks.

definitely nailed that one..meth is everywhere now. as for people that have children and doing it ..SHAME ON THEM! unfortunately i have no sympathy for drug users. there are so many means and options these days to get off of drugs and when people say maybe they dont have support all i hear is bullshit...grow up and be a adult and take care of yourself and especialy your children if that be the case. There is no more room in this world for people that bring children in this world and dont do their best to take care of them and protect then.
