Man, I read on the KNZA website that a few people have been arrested for drugs in Brown Cty. All "meth heads" should have their kids taken away. What a waste of space.

i know exactly what you mean. its sad to see the kids of these asshats with no good clothing to wear, always hungry, parents never care where they are. One friend of my son's just shows up on friday afternoon and his parents don't start worrying about where he is till sunday night. I'll ask him if he should call and tell them what he's up to, and he says "they don't care"

That is so sad the children have to live like that. Then you see the parents use drugs and ruin their teeth later on to get dentures and when they are in their twenties a person can always tell....they were a drug user.

Sounds like on the radio, they have caught a few more. I hope the police continue to work hard and get a lot more of them.

Sounds like a few more recently got arrested for the same type of thing. It's a good thing the police are working hard and catching these people before it gets into the hands of children, which the school isn't too far away either. If such people defend themselves saying it's not theirs, it doesn't look good at all to have it in their posession anyhow. How can a person stoop to that low level. All the poison and such. Don't they know it affects the heart, teeth, and your bones????? Don't they want to live????? Don't they have anything better to do????

One is a cops brother and this makes no less than the 3rd time he has been busted over the last 12 years!!!!!!!!!!
We delt with him at work. He plays a good song and dance about how hes gonna change etc...
But after the third freaking time I hope all see him for what he his.

there are a lot of druggies in town. its really sad what meth does to people and their families.

the sad thing about hiawatha, is that there's alot of "looking the other way" when it comes to drug use.

I think in the past there has been a lot of looking the other way, but I think some of that may be changing. It's about time!!

I just hope these people don't get a slap on the wrist. What makes a person go back to their old habbits? They need to pick a better hobby. I feel sorry for the families that hear about their children in this way. Such a embarrassment. I guess they are only hurting themselves in the end.

I think it may have been his third time too. For heavens sake, he lived in a chicken coop. Who in their right mind would live in a chicken coop with bird droppings. Is there something wrong there. I can't imagine what his brother is thinking. He is a cop.

i see where one of our local druggies plead no contest to arson.

Well I can see where they didnt really commit arson. Arson has to be on purpose.

So if you drop your joint into the couch at 4 am and it burns the house down.

Or if you leave the mid night supper on the stove as you pass out, and burn the house down.

Or if you lose control of your meth fire and burn the building down.

Its not on purpose, so its not arson.

Can you see there way of thinking?? Whats the matter with you. Druggies are taken advantage of in this country.

I hate to say it, but I believe there are more drug users in the brown county schools than people think. Its out of control. We are a small community! How do you not know when some one is doing drugs?!

How do you know all these 'meth heads' have kids you idiot? And who are you to judge? Maybe all these 'meth heads' need some good support systems and treatment! Be glad you dont have an addictive personality, or an addiction that is ruining your life at the moment! Maybe its people like you in the world that discourage users, and give them no sense of hope!
