He knew better. He even said so a day earlier. Probably goes to show you why he is no longer working for Antlers PD.

I can't believe someone let this arrogant / smarta$$ ever become part of the Antlers Police Department, Some idiot didn't do their homework. Hopefully he'll sit in prison with his brother for a long time. Ya reap what ya sow... Both are sorry cowards!

The form is hard to read, but it looks like he was offered a 2 year deferment, 50 days in jail,$200 fine, and 100 days of community service - which was rejected. I bet he takes this to a jury trial. Who would like to serve on this jury! lol

Cripes..you would think he would jump at this after all they have him on video from what I understand. Surely Officer Polly could not have screwed this up.

If he was arrested again, I can't find him. I show he is due back in court on August 1st.

What was he thinking? I can see the cell phone being taken lightly. I work in a prison environment and cell phones are a major problem in prisons nation wide. Unenforceable in many cases. The real problem is he is simply a dirty cop who doesn't need to be an officer anymore. This should not be taken lightly. It very easily could have been more serious contraband, ie., drugs. This dirty cop can't be trusted. Send him down the river.

He should have been a cop in Hugo where he could have gotten by with it.

He asked about working for Hugo PD and Choctaw County when he was fired from Tribal. Neither wanted anything to do with him as he was doing what he wanted to do and ignored advice from experienced officers/deputies. Because he refuses to change, I expect to see him arrested again within the next 5 years.

you are as dumb as your quote, the man in trouble did not work for the police dept, when he got in trouble, and dumbass the person that runs the police dept doesn't drink and run around at night like you,he has a family.

Looks like RW is not paying his attorney fees. Next hearing set for September 5th. This could get interesting!

From what I understand, the PD has cleaned house and has much better cops now. The jury is still out for the Sheriff's Office. Guess we will have to wait and see what happens with the election. I was told RW resigned from the PD about a month prior to getting arrested. Heard a lot of quirky stories and rumors about RW. This offense will probably keep him out of police work.

No one had said the man in trouble was a current Antlers Policeman at the time he got into trouble. When someone commented that they couldn't beleive that Williams had worked as an Antlers Policeman, lmao only indicated what many Antlers residents would say; "look at the dumbass that runs the police department!, meaning the chief probably didn't do a good background check!" The chief could very well be taken (or mistaken) for an old alcoholic if stopped at night by an OK State Trooper!
