Francis Benjamin Shields Dies

Francis B Shields (Brother Benjamin) passed away in October. His Friend James Fyock and girlfriend Carol Olevski decided not to tell his wife or his seven children. Since that time, they have taken over the church and misleading people down a path of destruction. Please stay away from this evil place. Rumor has it, the death is suspicious and may be looked at in a future investigation by the state.

Yes, the Lord's prayer applies to all--still the the truth is the truth and should not be compromised -- that's what's wrong with the world today--Christians should be blowing the trumpet--sounding the alarm and warning people of the deception in the world AND in the church in this day and hour.

I would like to know what Church or movement the Trumpet Blower blogger attends so we can discover if any deception is there. The most decieved cult Jehovah witnesses are always judging others of what they are guilty of in that they think they are truth and everybody else is decieved.

Brother Benjamin Shields preached all over the world against the false teachings of the Jehovah witnesses who dont believe in the bodily resurection of Jesus. Paul said you will die in your sins if you do not believe in the bodily ressurection of Christ.

I don't think you know what you're talking about....He preached in the North West US and Africa --hardly all over the world, and he preached against all teachings HE thought was false --not just Jehovah Witnesses.

Dear ceecee and Kiwi, Prophet Benjamin Shields tapes of his preaching went all over the world to at least 25 countries that I am aware of and he traveled as an Evangelist to many places so I do know what I am talking about. His ministry should have been based in a a metro area instead of rural western NY with small town local gossipers who dont know what they are talking about on many complex spiritual matters. What is the big issue about on Jan 5 in Little valley?

You would like to know the issue for January 5th. I will tell you, that is the day that Carol Olechovski (aka Carol Shields) must answer in a court of law. Since she signed a death certificate as Ben's wife, she must now prove it (which she cannot do) he already has a wife, her name is Sandra. Did you know that this is a felony? The Bible says that we should obey the laws of the land, I guess some people who claim to Christians think that they are above that.

I have been associated with Brother Ben for the past 30 years. I know that his "religion" has been based on a combination of mixed religious beliefs. It is like he took a little from each denomination and mixed them together to form one of his own. Much like most other "cults".
I feel for his family.
I was told recently that the Rev. James Fyock has taken over the church and there is a ton of illegal activity going on.
I hope his family finds some kind of peace and will be able to close the doors on Rev. Fyocks activities at the church.
I no longer attend there, but I have friends that do. I hope the Shields family gets satisfaction from the "Laws of the Land".

I want all of you to know that we should all get together at the Church he built in Cherry Creek and have a Family Revival and memorial service in order to honour his life and ministry that had many people recieve healings and miracles thru the name of Jesus. We must all repent of pride and that we know more than someone else on alot of issues that are history.

I just came across this and want to suggest that the family of this minister maybe contact some news media of some sort. Sounds like you have quite a story her.

A service would have been nice, but James Fyock and Carol Olechovski refused to have one, the undertaker said he could not get him in the ground fast enough and he had never seen anything so cold hearted in his life. Not a word was said nor a tear shed. How cold. Ben Shields had to have the best of everything so then why the quickest, and cheapest burial available? Tell me Jess and Carol were looking out of him, I don't think so. They are looking out for their own pockets.

Do you really think that Jess and Carol would let you have a serivce? He has taken over full force and has already made claims that he has inherited the church. He will not let this happen, he thinks he is the BIG Man now, taking over like a BIG SHOT. The service should have been taken care of when he passed away, it would have been a lot easier on the family, it was really hard to find out three weeks after he died, it is hard to find closure and there is a lot of hurt feelings to find out that the people in the church were warned not to tell Ben's kids because they were worried that they would try to take his house. HOW COLD HEARTED CAN YOU BE. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT CHRISTIANS

I agree with you and my heart goes out to your family that it should have been when he passed away but Jess and Carol cannot stop those who want to attend and give respect from having a memorial service on a Sunday evening at 5 pm at the church he founded. This is in no conflict with the regular services. Rev Kennett from Erie, Pa his long time friend who helped Ben start Christian Outreach ministries could conduct the service and he is very gifted and he can deal with anyone if they try to stop those who want to attend a memorial service to give proper honour to his life on earth.

Was curious as to how many of you who are reponding to this article defending Ben rolled back your sheets and welcomed him into your bedroom like most other females associated with his ministry. After all, this is what broke up his church on at least 2 different occasions or maybe on the desk in his office as he was caught there also more than once.
