I notice most of the anti-gun activists have never owned a gun, held a gun, shot a gun. They think it is some kind of evil mechanism that is very unsafe and will kill you just by looking at it.

I also notice alot of city people are afraid of them and that is most likely due to thugs that usually shoot other thugs in the city.

Well this country good ole boy was raised and taught about gun safety and how to properly handle them. It is the norm for everyone who resides in the county towns.

Maybe you city folks should take a gun safety course, get your permit and become a gun owner. Don't worry, it won't bite you. You will also feel safer.

I know at first it is scary for a newbie to have something that can take a person's life but I would rather take a criminal's life instead of the criminal taking my life or my family's life away.

If more responsible residents had guns there would be less crime.

Not everyone has an Adam Lanza living at their home. Sounds like she knew he had problems. She should have removed the guns from her home.

Guns do not belong in a home with someone that has behavorial problems but that does not mean guns should be outlawed.
