I am starting my candidacy early. Our city is in total dysfunction. Management is very poor. The citizens of Fitchburg have been experiencing the worst economic burden over the last 5 years. All rates, taxes, fees and utilities are the highest in the entire state.
Mayor Wong has failed miserably. We are the only city that does not display holiday decorations. Our businesses are being closed down due to robberies and the high cost of doing business within Fitchburg.
The University is the only business that the Mayor is interested in assisting. The Block Grant funding has been wrongfully used for other things besides assisting small businesses. There is an anti- business atmosphere within Fitchburg. I believe that we need to strat with replacing the license commission with fair minded and pro-business motivations and beliefs.
Our unemployment rate is the highest in the state. The city is overseeing the biggest capture of residential properties in its history. I feel that we will begin to see the city selling citizens properties to third parties. Our elderly citizens who are the fabric of the community are being financially affected the most.
This city pays massive salaries to all its department heads. We need these department heads such as Demoura to put out 110% where as at present it is around 50% for the highest salaries in the state. In other words we need to hold these managers responsible and we need to demand more effort out of them or we need to search for new managers of these departments.
I walk down Main street almost everyday, I have NEVER SEEN Mayor Wong on Main street nor any city councilors. I haven't seen any city councilors nor the Mayor in tedeschis or other local shops. We need to see their presence on our streets. Maybe we could begin with a "Health Walk" where once a week they all particiapate in a three mile walk throughout Fitchburg.
The art community has always been in fitchburg and yes we need to promote this community as well as other community assets. Mayor Wongs solution is to have them draw on plywood to cover the closed stores so Main street doesn't look so much like an abandoned western town.

I understand the need for student housing. But the city must not put all their eggs into one basket in reference to promoting these projects exclusively. First we all must understand reality in that these students are strapped for cash and living on Ramon noodle soups. In other words their disposable incomes is not the significant as is being portrayed by the Mayor. There are 40,000 citizens who live in Fitchburg full time.
I understand the Mayors political purpose and persuit as it appears that she sees the University and its employees as active voters which they are and local son of Fitchburg Antonucci as a plus for her voting tallies. But we must also not forget that Antonucci is on the board of trustees for Unitil.
Now it is common knowledge that they(Antonucci and cronies)shanghied my brother from his employment at the University. The mutual smirks and nods over this fact do not affect my positions as I have always held the same positions but what it does do is better highlight the negative and wrongful actions of the good ole boy network on anyone who does not kiss their ass.
This network has done NOTHING for Fitchburg!!! We live with the highest rates, taxes, the least city services, the highest crime rates and the least accountability. People think that I am crazy for putting myself out there as a target for these network members but what I feel is that they expose themselves as members for all to see. I STRONGLY FEEL THAT FITCHBURG BELONGS TO EVERY CITIZEN OF FITCHBURG and not just to one or two familys who employ their relatives and friends only!! Nepatism, corruption and this network is what has kept Fitchburg down in the dumps for well over two decades. They feel that they can run Fitchburg by disrespecting all citizens of Fitchburg and then strongarming and harrassing those that oppose their destruction and corruption.
The same old same old stands for connection and corruption!! It has failed as Main street is a ghost town, crime is up, unemployment is up!!

In reference to the students. They are a positive for Fitchburg. Reality is that the University is not nor ever moving out of Fitchburg! I live on Cedar street. I have no problems with the students in general.
I understand that these students will party which is normal. What I totally disagree with is the University police acting as guardians only!
The University police need to be replaced with proper management that seeks to control under age drinking, breaking of bottles, destruction of property, 2am to 5am out of control crowds and drinking and driving.
These past two years have been incredibly irresponsible concerning the University police. These police act as bouncers protecting the intoxicated party goers allowing them to urinate, destruct and disturb the peace at the hours of 2am to 5am.
Everyone understands that 2am is sometimes an accepted time concerning noise from these parties but 2am to 5am is 100% a failure of the University police management!
I have been out at these times and have seen some extremely bloody fights at these parties, open fires in front yards at 3am! These properties advertise "STUDENT HOUSING ONLY"!
Then there is a bright blue light that now shines arrogantly and ignorantly onto a dozen homes. This is an obvious annoyance and an assault onto citizens properties. I have written the Mayor and the attorney for the University and they have completely ignored the citizens request to remove the light! At least replace it with a lower whattage bulb. This light will be removed through the courts as it is not over! Non compliance from the Mayor and the University will not go un addressed. It is complete ignorance that is being displayed as they snub their nose through ignorance and a total lack of regard for the citizens!
Some neighbors are afraid to say anything as they have relatives that could be targeted by Antonucci and the Mayor. This is a mob threatening attitude which is developed through the allowance of a good ole boy network leg breaking mentality!

Well, at least we'll have some comedy relief between now and the election.
Anyone want to start an over/under pool on the # of votes this nitwit gets?
I'll start. Less than 200.
#5 Apr 11, 2012
Not that I want to "defamate" you but if I were running for Mayor and wanted to be taken seriously I think I'd realize the mayoral election in Fitchburg is scheduled for November 2013.
Thus, "Lynch for mayor 2014" is the mark of an idiot-not that we were not already aware of that fact.
#6 Apr 11, 2012
Uh? He cannot even get the election year right !
Hahahahahahahah! Is he kinda slow or something?
And don't worry about "defamating" him. Any person whom runs for political office is exempt from being protected by "defamation".
#7 Apr 11, 2012
He won't make it that long to get any votes.

What makes you think that just because you wrote a letter to the Mayor and the lawyer for the college complaining that they should give into you? why? because YOU don't like it. Take your @ss off the pedestel, your complaint is not valid. There is a reason for that light, if you don't like it, either close your blinds or move. So now your going to sue? if your don't get your way sue, that how your operate. Its become very obvious that the Mayor, the college and all the reat of the city don't take your to seriously. Now your accusing the Mayor and Antonucci of making threats? you are one screwed up @sshole. Don't waste your time running, the people want someone they respect, your not that person.

Hah, just read the part about the annoyinig blue light.
Hey dummy Lynch, don't like the noise associated with living near a college, move. The College was there long before you and your family. That's like moving next to the railroad tracks and then complaining that a train goes by every 3 hours.
Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber you have once again proven yourself to have infinite stupidity.
Please oh please bring a lawsuit against the city (hint, it's the state you want to go after for the light) so that we can see your mental instability on full display. Maybe your story will get picked up by some of the Boston news stations. Wouldn't that help your Mayoral bid? Come on, don't wuit now, go full force after those that are wronging you with their annoying blue light. Look at that light, see how it mocks you? See how the Mayor and the University Attorney are mocking you? They don't respect you, a man who has accomplished so much in life with so little. Come on man, you're better than that.
Thanks for the laugh.

Innaguration is in 2014 so it is election for the Mayors office 2014!!!
#12 Apr 11, 2012
Don't like the noise, then Move?? Is that really your logical solution? As I stated on the weekend ONLY, 2am is understandable to a point!
Over the past two years the police have become laxed as they allow public displays of intoxication till 5am. This is unacceptable and illegal by the way! This is called "out of control"! Last week the kid got his eye cut out of his head! What is next? When you allow this behavior to continue and to escalate then it gets worse!
At these times citizens car windows, cars get tipped over and side view mirrors get knocked off and mail boxes and lawn ornaments get ripped out and thrown on others cars. Cars get vandalized all the time.
Regardless of the area being a "college are" citizens still have to pay their deductables for the damage! This is against the law my friend! Drinking and driving on sidewalks is dangerous whether it is a city employee, a college student or a hard working citizen!!!!
You have no logic at all so you are very difficult to explain life to! Under your logic all residents should empty the college area so students can party at will and till 5 am!??

Do you want to make a personal wager on whether or not that light gets taken down?? I am not that person for you!
The light was just implanted in 2012! There wasn't a need before and there is no need now! Thje light by the gynasium on North street is half as bright! The blue light is a complete sign of total ignorance and a careless attitude! They didn't answer the letter because they are totally arrogant! The light will go, I promise you that!
This light knocks thousands off of all the property values. On the first three houses it looks like someone spray painted their siding with blue paint, if you don't believe me then go and take a look! So you feel that this is acceptable and not a nusiance? The neighbor told me that he had to move his couch and tv to the other side of the room! Should these homeowners paint their windows black in order to block the blue light out??? By the way, they are elderly and were born in Fitchburg. Should they move for the blue light? Should they accept the degrading of their property? Who pays the financial difference?
The University is a guest!!! The citizens of Fitchburg deserve better respect from their Mayor!!!! FACT!!
#14 Apr 11, 2012
The light is often the conversation in the neighborhood. We will be taking a video of it soon and there will be a petition and a direct request from the judge to demand that there is no repercusions such as job losses due to Antonuccis' way of doing business and abusing his position!
#15 Apr 11, 2012
I'm hoping that Siomos runs this time around. He has a good understanding of the city and his family are big contributers to the city and it's residents.
#16 Apr 11, 2012
Yea, the Mayor has done a lot for Fitchburg!! LMAO!!! The difference is so noticable that it is blinding!! Blinding with blue light that is/?
The University attorney is a big wig Boston guru who is paid unlimitedly by the state! So wehat are you saying, if they have a good attorney don't bother?? At this rate and at the agreeance with your non acting self african American citizens and woman would still not be allowed to vote!!!
I can tell that you are a person who needs the celebrity to smile at you! Who cares what the Mayor respects?? Hold her accountable!! It is a city bylaw by the way you Bone head! The city owns the sidewalk also! You cannot just plant a spot light on your front lawn and to shine it at high wattage into your neighbors windows,FACT jack!
They are once again playing the "we are the almighty card"!! They are arrogant by not addressing the issue. And by the way, I am not the only one that the Mayor has back stabbed as I have read a few posts from people in reference to her telling you one thing in person and then doing a nother thing! She is a politician not a leader! There is a difference!!! Or has this difference washed out of your brain also???

Voting in in 2013, that is the next election, its the 2013 election.
#18 Apr 11, 2012
No, the college is a property owner, they are alot more than a guest. As far as a wager, are you gambling with your food stamps? You have as chance at beating the college as you did with your assult case.
#19 Apr 11, 2012
Is it true that the campus police station has your picture on a bulletin board? What for? That's not fair.
#20 Apr 11, 2012
I am very confused. If Lynch cannot post about the police or else he will violate his unsupervised pre-trial probation why doesn't he just post then?
I thought he wanted to go to trial? What is the problem? Hmmmmmmmmm?
He always stated the case is in his favor and he will win. So what happened?

"Innaguration is in 2014" - Lynch
WTF is an "Innaguration?" That ranks right up there with "defamate," Lynch's previous best.
Lynchie boy-is English your second or third language?
BTW, that "Blue Light" issue should be a proven vote getter - too bad beings from Venus can't vote.
