Of the candidates selected, the one who appears to be the worst fit for Ayer/Shirley is Malone. This school committee should listen to the others in our towns when they ask for everyone's opinion. Why ask and then go against what you get as feedback? Did our Assistant Superintendant get considered? Why have an assistant who's not able to move up? Hope the next three years go quickly 'cause we got this one wrong - again.

Why did Mock leave, fed up with school committee? How did Malone get picked? No regional experience. We're not Haverhill.

Anybody look at the MCAS scores in Haverhill? 20-30% warning/failing is impressive (not!!)

With this vote, I was floored. Do not agree that Malone was the best candidate. Heard that this was the common feeling in the communities.

How do you lead if nobody wants to follow?
