WORCESTER -- A Gardner man arrested in connection with the June 21 murder of a Fitchburg man has been indicted in Worcester Superior Court on 11 related charges.

Dax A. Gibson, 36, of 265 Elm St., Apt. 24, Gardner, was indicted Monday by grand jury on charges of murder, home invasion, armed assault in a dwelling, armed assault with intent to rob, three counts of kidnapping, possession of a firearm without an FID card, possession of a loaded firearm not at work or at home, possession of ammunition without an FID card and threatening to commit a crime, according to Tim Connolly, spokesman for Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Gibson is accused of the murder of 26-year-old Luis Rodriguez, who was shot and killed June 21 in Fitchburg. Still at large in the murder is suspect Dinkue Brown, 27, of 33 Adams St., Apt. 6, Fitchburg.

Connolly said no arraignment date in Worcester Superior Court has been set for Gibson. He declined to commment on whether there were any other developments in the case, saying only that it remains under investigation.
