Oh please. Can't you smart Leominster residents see that this article was S&E's last stitch effort to recover from its financial woes.

The article was an invasion of privacy in my opinion.

If they are going to punish the mayor for using the computer for personal use, perhaps they should investigate the whole of city hall too. I'm certain that these fine employees always use their computers for work use.

Also, I know that a lot of people are canceling their S&E subscriptions because of this. Telegram anyone? Even the Champion puts out a good paper.

Jeff McWhatshisface is a dirtbag for driving the knife in deeper to the families affected by this personal matter. I can just imagine how they all must be feeling. Commendable job doucher.

OH, P.S Jeff, everyone in town pretty much new the basics about the situation months ago. I love how you keep writing how he only admitted this when the big successful S&E discovered the scandal. This makes you a double doucher.

And that's my opinion.

CEO?? last time i checked the mayor was an elected official. CEO's conduct is governed by the corporate policies/bylaws. is there any such thing in municipal gov't.

he was supposedly involved with a worker in city hall for some time and no one has said a word about that. Because???????

its time for a total house cleaning, city, state and federal level..VOTE THE BUMS OUT..

This paper is now nothing more than a POS tabloid

Nobody is more qualified than Mayor Dino, he has the
experience, and has proven himself. NO other city is as well run as we are. No debt, plenty of money in the bank, plenty of jobs, low tax rate, low crime.

I support Mayor Dino!

I find him to be unprofessional and it shows little regard to the females involved. What does this show to our city's children when the mayor is fooling around in the workplace. I guess he has to much free time on his hands?

They all should look at themselves and get to work rather than fooling around in City hall. What and example of what not to do in thw workplace?

it would be sad for Leominster to loose someone who has done so much for the progress of his community.
if Tiger Wood and Vicks can continue their carrees, lets hope so can a good Mayor.

I do not give a crap about the personal lives of the two individuals. It does not affect me - it's PERSONAL. I find this whole topic a gross invasion of privacy and more info than any of us needed to know. By publishing the emails, the Sentinel has negatively impacted the relationships and the lives of both the children and the adults associated with the woman and man in this affair. Don't make the children and the families and the co workers pay the very public price for the very personal actions of others.

I am not exactly sure where the outrage is coming from. the woman striking the Mayor? that is against the law. As for the Mayor and what he does with his personal time I really do not care. If it is found that he broke the law and committed a crime, yes prosecute and get him out. Other than that I do not see an issue.

I think when the mayor can say without any shame that he is having an affair with a married woman, that there is a lack of basic values. While he may be doing a good job as mayor character is important. What kind of message is he sending to the younger generation?

Another expert on the ways of the world...which councilors pocket did Mark Duffy emanate? The sentinel, without one shred of proof, took a shot and asked the mayor is he had girlfriends....the mayor...being an honest person, answered in the affirmative...now the paper has a story that can be filled in with innuendo and inference....Mr Duffy, you are aware of the old corporate rubic "the bottom line" which corporation can you name that fired a CEO while he was making the company money? Get all holier than thou and then go back to work and stop with the bull caca....the Mayor rocks and the paper stinks...
Use spell check for one thing. Mr Duffy pointed out the true facts. Mazzarella should at least step up and apologize to the others affected by this controversial subject. He's acting like his typical self. Only thinking about himself and how it affects his persona. Time to step down Dino along with the other corrupting city leaders.

That was a great letter Mark Duffy. I concur with you entirely. I expressed my concerns yesterday early in the forum to the original article. If he is not ashamed of himself, he really is delusional. Let's hope he steps down NOW, and doesn't drag it on any longer.

all perfect people step right up

who has not dated a married person at some point in time...most americans have been divorced and not all wait for the official divorce decree before resuming life

and by the way, what percentage of these postings are being written on work computers...maybe 90%..cmon fess up...and Mark Duffy could not last in a room with one of these girls for five minutes before he would be slamming and banging...you think the mayor ever had a chance with these well experienced cats?....please kids out there...try not to criticize unless you have all the information...we know nothing but that a mayor has a girlfriend he works with...people tend to fall for one another when they work together...any way what is wrong with the women who work at city hall...why can't a guy fall for them...they are just as nice looking as any other group of girls...and editor Brian of the Sentinel....is the paper that desperate for sales...you throw a good mayor and the reputation of city hall along with 2 little kids without a mother, all under the bus to sell 20 more papers? You are a true whore

dating a girl in city hall is a problem?
the guy works in city hall
he loves city hall
therefore he loves the girls in city hall
very innocent to me
but the newspaper is very dirty minded and should be shunned by those of us who appreciate good government and feel disgust at yellow journalism
where was the news paper and the xarras councilors
when there was work to be done
where was the news paper when we wanted information
about a shooting or robbery
then we had to go to a boston or worcester paper
Hmmm

Mark,
How come you didn't ask for Lisa Vallee's resignation? Are you comfortable with her being the PTO president where your children go to school? Maybe you should request she resign from that post as well.
