Lynch- You don't have the foggiest notion of how long it takes to negotiate a contract.<quoted text>
It is insane. They do not spend a minute to negotiate the contract. Now they are stuck with an inflated pension and no way to pay for it. Crime has risen and they do not have the number of police to address it.
Drug dealing is so heavy that they receive more traffic than a McDonalds at lunch.
It is the same families running drugs and guns in Fitchburg for years, why???
Thank God for the state and federal authorities who patrol Fitchburg or it would be a total loss.

Nice try. It takes about 1.5 years to 2 years to negotiate a contract. The Union officers, eboard and the Mayor have to meet routinely (at least once a month) or else the Mayor and the city can be held liable and sued for not bargaining in good faith. These are the federal labor laws.
Once a contract is agreed upon the process immediately starts again because they are 3 year contracts.
So I guess we can scratch off having experience with union negotiating on your qualifications for Mayor.
