So, do we have any candidates for the Chief position?

I have a suggestion! There is this ranking officer in Boston who I feel that would make a great Chief for Fitchburg.

She is African American. I hope this is not going to be an issue for some. She is the most qualified, I believe that she would agree to move into Fitchburg. She is very professional and a very good manager.

I have no problem with THAT idea, but I strongly suspect that many, if not most all of the current members of the FPD WILL have a great big problem with it.

Gee Wizz, many of our highest ranking cops turned into a bunch of flakes when DeMoura was hired as Chief. Seemingly, many of our highest ranking boys jumped on this very forum and whined about DeMoura getting the position. And, they completely slammed DeMoura at the same time.

If these boobs blew their gaskets over a semi washed up middle aged white man getting the position, you can just imagine how foolish they all would behave if an African American female was ever hired as Chief....it sure would be fun to watch it all play out though!

Here you go again bringing up race. You are the biggest racist out there. Who the F are you to recommend who should be the next Chief of Police? Do you think this woman would list you as a reference? Wake up.

There is one more person that I would like to see looked into for police Chief is A former Boston Police Officer Robert Alvarez.

The female officer is a member of MAMLEO. She is a strong leader. She has great management skills and has dealt with gangs in Boston as an employee of the BPD.

We need real change in Fitchburg. We need leadership that will make Fitchburg a better and safer place to live.

If we hire an officer from the FPD to be Chief of the FPD I strongly believe that it would bring us back to the worse days that Fitchburg experienced.

This is not because they are not good officers but because they are too friendly with FPD officers that are known to change police reports illegally and ones who have been subjects of IA complaints too often.

All due respect we do not need a "friend of FPD" members to manage this force we need a manager who is going to manage appropriately and is focused on a safer and better Fitchburg.

Many of these Boston Police officers have seen and dealt with serious situations within Boston.

In Fitchburg we have a drug and gang problem, one in which Chief Demoura downplayed. This is not a joking matter as it could be you or your family member that is lethally confronted by one of these dangerous gang members.

The Mayor and city councilors can state that they are serious about change but then once in office they pull out their rubber stamp and NOTHING changes!!

I believe that Lynch is actually the corrupt one and he is afraid of being caught so he wants to take the attention away from himself and try to place it on our local law enforcement.

Lynch may have had a family relative that got a nice cushy job with the Mass Port Fire Department at Logan airport who is the congressman's brother.

So Lynch most likely got a lesser sentence for his crime and an easy road to get on disability because of his congressman family relative.

Mr Lynch, you and I can agree on the theory that hiring our next Police Chief from the current pool of whiners, boobs, misfits and malcontents would be bad for our fine burg. I am a big fan of bringing in an outsider to do the job.

I honestly feel that the best candidate for being a Chief would be a civilian, not a cop. Of course that will never happen. So, we are stuck with the broken system of cops overseeing cops. And, covering up for cops....

But I thought you said you already had a local cop picked out for the position during your last campaign? Who was the cop that was working your campaign that you promised the job Lynch? Let me guess, another lie?

I have been out all day winning votes. Remember if a volunteer happens to knock on your door in reference to my campaign be nice and polite! These guys are volunteers, they have been instructed not to accept any cookies or milk ect.
If you wish to volunteer feel free to come by and we will set you up with flyers and pins ect. And yes, I already have a Fitchburg Police Officerworking for my campaign as If I am elected he will be the next Chief of Police. He is very qualified and by the book.
I am also looking to revamp the entire system as you know. Many patrolmen will be sgts, Lt,s and Captains next yr at this time.

Everyone said that about DeMoura when he was hired. He was an outsider that had done great things for Lowell and was a gang expert. He was not affiliated with any of the cops in Fitchburg.

So how will you know or anyone knows who should be hired? Once they get the job they may not turn out to be what they appeared to be on paper.

Genevieve King retired last year at 55 years old and will not jeopardize her pension annuities for a measly $10K a year upgrade to her pension in which she would HAVE to work another 3 years to get. It just isn't worth it.

A city employee's pension is based on the 3 highest years of salary. Sorry, overtime is not included, it is only based on the base salary.

She is also a very good friend of Mayor Wong.

3 highest years? Interesting. So, we can almost guess at the date that our Fire Chief is going to retire huh?

So, concerning the police department is public safety second to the Union contract?

If we lived in a just and honest world you would recieve in retirement what you earned in your highest years.-$1000,-$1000,-$1000 or probably even more. So that's at least 12k you should have to pay back every year when you retire from not working.

Well after November you can finally hang up your scaly cap if you don't get elected.

Then it will be time to get a job. I know that "job" word is painful to you but I will take the place of your dad and tell you kid, it's time to get out there and be a productive person in society.

If you are healthy enough to attend a 2 hour debate and not need a health assistant with you then you can hold a light duty job in an office. What are you waiting for?

Be a man and get to work, earning a pay instead of being a burden on society.

If people have the same health problems as you do and they have to work why can't you?
