Patrick: Child-welfare agency's problems - not systemic'
Gov. Deval Patrick gave the state's embattled child welfare department a vote of confidence today, saying that the problems that allowed a now-missing 5-year-old Fitchburg boy to slip through the cracks "are not systemic" as lawmakers prepare to call state officials to a Beacon Hill hearing.

I am not convinced that there has been enough time for them to do a real thorough investigation.
