I taught at New Athens High School for one year, 1967-1968, when I was 23 years old. I taught social studies classes and coached basketball as assistant to head coach, Lee Emery. Believe it or not, I am still alive and still teaching. I have many wonderful memories of New Athens. I remember many students and teachers by name. I was just wondering if anyone who posts to this site remembers anything about those long ago but exciting days? If not, ask your parents or grandparents or great grandparents.:)

If I remember correctly my father had you as one of his teachers when he was in highschool. I remember him bringing your name up a few times when he talked about his highschool days. All good things.
