Why are taxpayers being forced to pay for this ****? Was Marchetti actually bitching like bitch that the hired consultant was making suggestions? Was that his bitchy complaint, that the consultant is acting like he thinks he was hired to suggest a form of government that may work in Pittsfield? So taxpayers are forced to pay for advise from the consultant the charter members don't want to listen too. But they welcome input from the drunk former mayor of "IT'S HAPPENING" and EV Worldwide and Pittsfield's irrational dysfunctional hostile least ethical, guilty of multiple ethics violations offender, and the slobbering drooling former mayor whose father was the mayor of the North end and no doubt his mother was saint and the current mayor whose popularity and approval rating is in the sewer with all his full of shit promises, right where it was 11 months ago and where it'll be this time next year.

But anyway, back to Steroidsgate and three PPD officers TOUCHDOWN, GOALPOST, and RED DOG. As reported by Dan Valenti. Touchdown reported the police union led by Officer Mark Maddalena met "to discuss a contract offer" from the city. Allegedly according to Tounchdown officers felt the meeting had ulterior purposes. "Word around the station was that the meeting was used as a 'feeler' to try to find out who's been talking about a 'No Confidence' vote against the chief[Michael Wynn]," Touchdown said. "Officers felt that the union leadership was trying to sniff out who was unhappy with the chief and wanted the 'No Confidence' vote. The plan was to report back to [Captain David] Granger and Wynn.

Whose in charge at the PPD: Wynn or Granger?

Touchdown said that some officers feel that "Wynn is losing his grip day by day and that Granger is really running things. It didn't 'officially' come up at the meeting, but you could tell they were sniffing."

From RED DOG: "Captain Granger runs the place," Red Dog said. "Chief Wynn is his mouthpiece. Wynn lets Granger run on any wild goose chase and head hunt he wants if he's got it in for someone{one of the officers]. Wynn is scared to take any actionj in fear of alienating his buddies. As far as I'm concerned, Granger is vindictive, plays favorites, and plays everything close to the vest.

Red Dog says that cligues have formed within the PPD, leading to interdepartmental politics that are "vicious."

*Well anyway thats some of what Valenti reported back in April 2011

Jimmy Ruberto's advice: Raise taxes and spend money on North Street. Take orders from Carmen Massimiano.
Gerry Doyle's advice: Drink alcohol and make deals with the Devil and Jack Welch.
Ed Reilly's advice: Screw with the MCAD's decisions and give Walter Powell $1 million.
Sara Hathaway's advice: Complain about the Good Old Boy network that ended my political career. Kiss Nuciforo's behind.
Dan Bianchi's advice: Going along and getting along with everyone, but my enemies keep back-biting me.

They all want a STRONG MAYOR GOVT. I think Ruberto was strong enough. He bullied his way through town for 8 never ending years and the city council did not dare go against him. A STRONG MAYOR GOVT is the equivalent of a dictatorship...(which is what we had for the last never ending 8 years)

What these GOB folk really want is the CIVIC AUTHORITY model of a mayoral govt. They do not want ANYONE questioning their taxing and spending the citizenry into bankruptcy.

They have already taken all discussion of this matter out of the hands of the people and they will shove it down our throats as soon as they can make it legal. BEWARE THE CITY CHARTER REVIEW COMMITTEE as they just want to CONTROL EVERYTHING without questions

I agree that the Good Old Boy network of Pittsfield politicians want to control everything in Pittsfield. The people (i.e., the taxpayers) get the shaft.

With a 70 million dollar budget they should be paid and so should the kids who attend school. They should even pay the animals used in lab experiments.(and I am not talking about the kids this time)

The new Pittsfield Charter will make Carmen Massimiano the Grand Ruler of Pittsfield politics. Jimmy Ruberto will return as Mayor. Angelo Stracuzzi will control the city's finances. Andrea Nuciforo will be the honorary Congressman. Cliff Nilan will lead the legal department. The Good Old Boys will rise again in Pittsfield politics.

Well there is that Pittsfield promise to get third graders reading at a third grade level. So there's that great achievement to celebrate when they drop out of school to give birth to their illegitimate children and shack up with drug dealers.

So the Good Old Boy network wants a strong Mayor in the new city Charter. They can recruit the next Napolean, Hitler, and Stalin to lead Pittsfield into the 21st Century.

Maybe Jack Welch could become the new Mayor under the new Pittsfield charter. Then Pittsfield will have PCBs toxic waste pollution to make people suffer from cancer. No one will have a job or health insurance. Buildings will be empty. But, Pittsfield will have a strong Mayor with dictatorial powers. The Good Old Boy network will fulfill their vision for Pittsfield.

Oh no. The obvious choice for the salvation of the city is to bring back all star mayor Gerry Doyle. He alone can bring salvation to a city crying out for new direction. Hail the Doyle.

Take out papers and run for mayor. Otherwise, stop complaining and waiting for others to step in.

I wouldn't go near that festering rotting putrid vile sewer of politics. If you've found something, anything, positive about our local government, you obviously wallow in same sewer.
