I don't think anyone expected Obama to "wave a magic wand and make it go away." I think it IS realistic, though, to expect that he NOT take actions to COMPLETELY TANK the economy, like HE HAS DONE.

It's VERY SAD that there are still people left who place credibility in this lying Democratic regime.

Their stimulus package HAD to pass or unemployment would go to 9%. If ONLY Congress, in their oh so competent wisdom, would pass the package, then unemployment wouldn't go to 9%... it would be at 8%.

It's 10.2% now. AND, the "jobs created" by the wise one's stimulus money are marginal, at best. They actually cannot even put out ACTUAL numbers of jobs created.

Now.. their health care/health insurance/whatever the mantra of the day label of reform that just passed will make all of us "healthy, AND reduce costs for America's people by billing them for the 1.3 TRILLION dollars it will cost. An IDIOT would not miss the contradiction in that premise, but blind followers WILL believe it. The government is now in charge of our health care. They cannot even make sure we have an adequate amount of REGULAR flu vaccinations, much less the H1N1 vaccinations they claimed we MUST have in order to stave off the mass casualties of the swine flu (talking about fear mongering!!), but they'll surely take care of ALL ASPECTS OF OUR HEALTH CARE now.

If it weren't so frightening to see how blindly people line up to follow the pied piper , the "head in the sand" ignorance of those who believe this Marxist regime is just MIND BLOWING!! Why don't you quit going to Walmart? Walmart has cost America a lot of jobs, but people keep trotting back to good ole Wally World. Bush started the bail outs, and who are we kidding anyway democrats and republicians don't run this country. It is the lobbyists who run this country and tell the politicians what to do. I believe we need term limits on Congress, they do not need to stay until they are 100 years old. All they talk about is free trade, free trade has cost this country millions and millions of jobs for what, so corporate America can make more money. Let's not kid ourselves, politicians are going to do what is in the best interest of their job not the people, so maybe if their job was on the line things would be different.

You are right, neitehr Bush nor Obaba controlled this whole nation. People need to make their own jobs rather than to wait on the government or these business people. Everyone has a talent or skill that is marketable and they should be right on that. But most will admit, I'm just too messed up to work, too worried and too sick.

Trade is never free. What do we trade? What do we get? What comes into this country is usually substandard goods that have cause more problems than savings to one who buys them.
