Spud, you reminded me of the board, I had to sit on that thing too. I also remember when Mr. Henry would put a board to my behind at school.
This popped a memory of Edward Logan wearing his PJ's to school one morning. Ol Ed, I wonder what happened to him, I guess he's a millionare in Fl by now.

I dont remember this barber. I got a few hair cut's from Hee Tallent, Sometimes me & dad would go up to his place & take his dogs out hunting with ours. He kept busy at his shop, so we would exercise his rabbit dogs for him. Who ever ate at the triangle grill on broadway.? I think it was once abt everything except for a cenema

I looked through the school yearbooks over the last few days. I had been looking at them for specific people earlier but not just one picture at a time. It looks like I have 8 books. some were from another family member & covers a different set of years. I doubt if I would know the people if I saw them in public. some I knew quiet well others not so much. I think the sad part is the number I know have died over the years. I am sure there are many others that have passed but I didn't know. Some so young.

Remember when most people had clothes lines. I guess they never caught on in Mexico. There is something about not driving through town and seeing laundry hanging from tree limbs that I miss.

Yeah those were the whitest, crisp sheets hanging on a clothes line, And after they were put on the bed they smelled so fresh and clean...Loved them. I remember Hissy Frittsn and what was the guys name that worked for him? Anybody remember Leroy Hartline , always had the sharpest car and he would have it jacked up so high in the back you could almost drive another car underneath it.I THINK i recall he had a purple car and i know he had a real slick black one. LOL!if the front of it would run over a cigarette butt it would scrape the road.

I remember the old jail right as you cross the Loudon Bridge on the left, where the old Carmichael Inn sits.
