Door to Door Consumer Info

Note to consumers: By law, Door to door salesman must provide you with documentation that explains you have 3 days to cancel that sale. During the 9 months that I installed for this business, that documentation was never supplied to the consumer. More than likely, it is still not today. This documentation should be separate from any contract supplied from DirecTV. It is not DirecTV knocking on your door. It is a retail business and this disclosure should be supplied from their business. What this means to consumers that have been defrauded by Ty. Even though you are in a contract with DirecTV, that contract is void because "Capitol Media" did not inform you that you had 3 days to cancel. Until he supplies this to you, you can cancel your DirecTV contract at any time with no penalty. DirecTV CANNOT hold you to this contract because the retailer screwed up.
