Winter is just around the corner. It's the time of year to dress warm and slow down a bit and enjoy the show nature is about to give us. It's a great time to sip warm cider and sit in the gazebo, and listen to the children play, or be alone and listen to the sound of the woods filling up with snow.......... UNLESS YOU WERE BORN IN TENNESSEE! Oh hell no! None of that. Nope. Not gonna have it. If you were born here, when it snows, it's time to tether your fishing boat to your pick 'em up truck, snort meth, drink beer, and drag the family up and down G Street hill. I so loved winters back in Ole Vermont. It would snow five feet and the busses still ran, kids went to school, stores opened, and the Red Cross didn't have to fly in supplies to keep us all from dying of stupidity. We didn't attach skis to the front of dirtbikes, now tractor innertubes behind them. We didn't swarm grocery stores for bread, milk, bottled water, beer, and coffee. We didn't loot Home Depot for candles, matches, batteries, and duct tape. In short, we didn't use the weather as an excuse to act like a bunch of inbred morons. We still went to work, and church, and lodge meetings. We tapped maple trees and made homemade syrup. The kids made snowmen, and drank warm cocoa. This winter I want you rednecks to stay inside when it snows 1/64 of an inch or more, until after 1 pm. This will give us decent and sensible people that live in My Beautiful Village(and know how to drive) a chance to function as normal people do, without the risk of getting run over and smashed to smithereens by Bubba and his monster truck. Other villagers can subscribe to my youtube page and receive free updates, advisories, alerts, about when and where this redneckery might erupt.

Been up North. Went to school with snow up to rooftops sometimes. If you hadn't figured out a way to get around in all that snow and cold you'd had to have been even dumber than you sound every time you get on here bashing the fact that we enjoy a little snow now and then. Why the h### did you ever leave snowy Vermont. Did you get too old to take those beautiful Northern winters.
Nothing wrong with being proud of how or where you grew up.. It doesn't sound like you ever did (grow up)!

Do you remember how to get back to Vermont? You probably have time to miss the snow event if you leave now.

I came here because I'm ridiculously wealthy, and the tax rate is less than in Ole Vermont.

Good! Then do like John D Rockfeller did. You can make them reduce the tax rate back to what it was when you came here, by building a bunch of schools.

Or maybe not. The politicians here are no different than in Yankeeland. The more money you give them, the more they will spend and the more they will need.

So where is the link to your YouTube page?

Yeah, but just think your marriage to your male lover is legal in Vermont!

I moved here after my brother, Monte' Vermonty. I came to visit him and The Village was just beautiful, yet everything else in the county was so drab and shabby. I just wanted to do something to help, and I'm so glad i did. The taxes we pay in My Beautiful Village, saved Loudon County from extinction. Now you have modern roads, sidewalks, new parks, and a decent library. I feel great about doing more than my part to save Loudon County. Someday the residents will understand all we've done for them, and will thank us Villagers for relocating here and vastly imroving their lives. I am just that wonderful.

Well, every Village needs an idiot. It seems that Tellico Village specializes in them.
