90% saying total failure this morning?
It can change, but that's about the returns you'd expect. |

There CANNOT be that many fools in Loudon County. The poll should register 100% think Arp is a total failure... but then I guess Arp and all those he does favors for have voted to make up that 10%. |
|||
|
Arp has made Lenoir City a laughing stock state-wide. Is there a way to impeach someone for being incompetent?
I guess not, or Bush would have been thrown out 7 years ago. |

The 10% makes up for all of the family that he has hired in the county.
PLEASE A CHANGE IS NEEDED!!! |

1 a. Doyle Arp is so unpopular Brookshire could beat him b. They would both lose in a three-way race, no matter who the other candidate was. |

1 At what point do the good people of Loudon County finally say "Enough is enough!" and call for ALL of the involved parties to resign from office or face prosecution. In fact, resignation should not preclude prosecution for malfeasance in office. When I was growing up in Lenoir City, I was fully convinced it was Mayberry. As an adult, I have yearned to return to the place of my childhood and live in that place I loved so much. Unfortunately, from what I am seeing and have experienced the last few years, "Mayberry" is gone. Loudon County has the resources to be one of the greatest places in this nation to live. Whether it becomes that once again will be the decision of the people.....and the polls are not the only place where they can make their views known. Public corruption CANNOT be tolerated by ANY PUBLIC SERVANT lest they become a law to themselves, thereby undermining and destroying our Constitutional Republic, making the BLOOD of those who bought our freedom worthless. GET IT UNDER CONTROL OR LOSE YOUR FREEDOM!!! |

Rick, I hope that we can fix these problems here in Lenoir City and Loudon County. You have a few whipper snappers that think that they can run rough shod here and kick the people around. They are some very good officials but they are mixed in with some that are dshonest, non caring, spiteful, greedy, self serving, self centered, and power hungry, idiots. They are just plain mean and they need to be put out. It is sickening how they have stolen from us. We have tried to get them out by sending the TBI, Comptroller's office, etc., but they have connections in the State and they are just a phone call away to making it all go away. When your attorney general is part of the good ol' boy crowd, it is very hard to get something done here. I do admit, that we as voters and citizens have put this on ourselves by voting the scum into offices that they had no business in. Dishonest bums do not need to be the leaders in our county. Hopefully, since we are not going to get the help from the State of Tennessee to remove the dishonesty, then we have to vote them out. That will take time, but I believe eventually we can return Lenoir City back to Mayberry, and Loudon County back to where it belongs as a safe, peaceful, beautiful, place to live. Hurry on back to Tennessee, we need ya! here!

1 GET IT UNDER CONTROL OR LOSE YOUR FREEDOM!!! I could not agree more but just what do you do when the judges and the district attorney are as corrupt as the ones they prosecute? Even the governor and state officials turn a blind eye. |

That's why we are blessed with an alternative news dissemination system called "The Internet."
Our other option is the Ballot Box. Of course with situations like this that is often corrupted as well. I recently had to deal with a situation where a company was involved in a hostile takeover: someone else wanted our company after we took it out of bankruptcy and made it profitable, and they did it. My partners and I were financially raped.....and even in East Texas we could not find a law firm that would represent us against these people and their billion-dollar law firm. I lost a quarter million on the deal....and I'm just a working stiff!!! THAT HURT!!! But we have been praying and things have started to happen...."God is not mocked: whatever a man sows, he is going to reap." (I wish I could say more about the story, but I can't for legal reasons.) Corruption begins with an incestual relationship among a group of people, whether it be lawyers, politicians, or busines people. Here's how you beat it: 1) Document and expose the incest to the public. 2) Make so much noise about it that it cannot be ignored. 3) Keep going further up the food chain, carefully documenting the trip. 4) Go outside their area of influence---it's there, you just have to find it. 5) Don't give up. 6) Get together people of faith and begin a 24-hour prayer chain just about this situation. I believe that when we pray, someone has to pay. The Lord will not and cannot honor dishonesty and corruption. They will fall. We shall begin part 6 on your behalf down here in Texas. |

Thank you Rick! As for #1, here's part of the incestual relationship exposed. http://www.vanshaver.com/thegiftthatjustkeeps... Thank you for #6. We've had people on these blogs trying to tell us it's "unchristian" to even oppose this corruption. Maybe you're comments will shed some like into their minds. |

1 THE BIBLE ENDORSES CHRISTIAN PEOPLE STANDING UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT AND EXPOSING EVIL. The Bible does not endorse corruption or criminal activity at any time or place. Anyone that has a problem with that needs to go back to Sunday School and start reading their Bible. Go Get the Bums!!!! |

Every community has its problems, including here in the Beaumont, Texas area. Those problems will not be resolved unless people take an active part in making it happen.
Look at the history of Beaumont. It was a no-man's-land until the 1960's when Federal marshalls came in, arrested most of the public oficials, and cleaned the place up. Everything was open, including prostitution, bribery, and payoffs....it was a way of life in the oilfields of East Texas. BUT IT WAS STOPPED when someone took a stand. "Those who will not stand for something will fall for anything." |

Give me a call some time. I'm the chief engineer at KBTV-TV 4 (NBC) in Beaumont, Texas. That's the job that pays the bills.

1 One of the things that makes Loudon county such a wonderful place is the trust and openness of its people. I'm not exaggerating when I observe that they're just the best people in the world. Unfortunately though, it is precisely this trusting openness that makes fertile ground for crooks and over the years, a small, but very disciplined and tightly integrated cadre of them have assumed positions of power in the county - leveraging their positions to strengthen their hold (eg. promoting a DAG that will run interference and provide cover) while using the county the way a dairy farmer might use a cow - giving it just enough to keep it producing wealth and influence for them. The thing they neglect though is the internet and the way it has re-shaped the way that information organized into knowledge has changed things. Relying on a complicit, or at least whipped local paper, they are outmatched now because there are lots of people getting involved and sharing information. It will get increasingly tougher for them to hide-out. The "conventional" media won't help any, but you can bet your socks that should the county mayor of the sheriff or the DAG seek re-election, these new media warriors will hang their misdeeds around their necks like a rotting albatross and if attrition at the polls is the only way to clean it up (and practically speaking, I suspect that it is), then it will be worth it. You are right though ... it is a long, difficult slog. |
