little more help pleaseeee
Tony already runs the sheriff department. If Tim retires he needs to make another sheriff just like him, one that will do what he is told.
Power is less fun when you have responsibility to match it. Tony cannot get more power there than he has already. And to have a figurehead sheriff who has all the legal responsibility for what goes on gives Tony the best of both worlds.
And Tony also ran for countywide office in 2006. He ran for county mayor and Arp beat him bad in the primary. Ever since then he has only run for office in city elections. Proud men don't like being humiliated.

I for one think tony aikens does a great job,he knows what is going on.I like guider & jimmy too.you just look what aikens has done for L.C.,lower lcub rates,lower taxes,all kinds of building going on & road projects.what else can you ask for.I will always VOTE for guider & Aikens,you just go look @ the vote totals they both got in their elections.

Can he keep the jailers from having sexual contact with the inmates?! That'd be nice not to have to read in the paper. Also, why has this guy not been charged?

Yes they can, that is why there are cameras everywhere in the jail so they can watch the inmates and the employees 24/7. The last time this happened the officer was not charged he was just fired. Which is exactly what will probably happen this time.

I understand that most of you are biased, based on non-factual opinions. Let me tell you one thing;
Jimmy Davis has nothing to do with his wife's conviction. Just because someone is married to a felon, doesn't mean they personally are bad. Jimmy Davis talked me out of suicide once. Personally came to my house and sat with me for hours, just talking. Last year, when there were two suicides including students from our own High School, who was first on scene? Who cut the boy down from the tree with his own hands? Who made sure that there family knew first? Jimmy Davis. Do some research before you run your damn mouth. Jimmy Davis is a saint compared to most of Lenoir City. He does more than most of the people bad mouthing him. Learn facts before you judge, you hypocritical morons.
Have a good day!:)

he sounds like a saint. maybe we shouldn't keep him all to ourselves? We should send him to nashville, or better yet, Washington DC.
