For someone new to the area, I have seen homes for sale on w. 3rd, w. 5th, C St. and A St. and Buttermilk Road. Are these good neighborhoods, thanks for any advice

Not good areas. You need to stay in one of the nice S/D. If you can afford it go to West Knoxville.

The streets in town are a good place to live if you are Mexican. By the way if you are looking for an apartment I know of one for rent in town.

Take a ride and go over to Tellico Village, a lot of homes from sales and some at very good prices. Nice area, nice people.

Don't forget the YEARLY DUES and ALL the RULES that go along with living in the Village.

Wasn't the last murder that occurred in Loudon; didn't that happen at the Village??

If you want to clean out your basement and get rid of your stuff, you can't even put a yard sale sign in your own yard. The Village may have some good buys and nice people but its just another retirement community with amenities that you'll certainly pay for.

There are nice lots of places near the lake without all the baggage.

The city is trashier every time I see it. I use to know a lot of people all over town. It's a shame not many good neighborhoods are left and those are surrounded by what's falling down and trash every .
