Man Pours Bucket of Blood on Himself as Protest

Full story: WJW Fox 8 Cleveland

A man who says that he is just trying to persuade people into opposing the culling of the deer population in a park near his home poured a bucket of blood on himself as a protest against a planned deer hunt there on Wednesday night.

They all complain when they hit them with their cars and then complain when the municipality culls them. So typical, complain, complain, complain, and never offer a solution. He ought to put his energy into getting a clue.

What a sicko. I guess he wants the deer to starve to death instead? These enviro-weenie animal rights idiots should be ashamed of themselves. Save the whales, but kill the babies. Right.

JASON MILLER- WAY TO GO! YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!
WE CAN PUT MAN ON THE MOON, BUT CANNOT FIND A MORE HUMANE WAY TO CONTROL THE DEER POPULATION? THATS BS.
THATS WHY THEY HIDE WHAT THEY ARE DOING, SO DOES THE DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE, THEY GO AROUND DROWNING SKUNKS, RACOONS AND OTHERS JUST FOR BEING THERE; AT LEAST THATS WHAT THEY ARE DOING IN OHIO; THEY JOKE ABOUT IT AND SEE WHO CAN HOLD THEIR BREATH THE LONGEST; THEY ALSO PUT THEM IN A CAGE, LOCK THE DOOR, AND IMMERSE THE CAGE IN A HUGE VAT OF WATER TO DROWN THEM; YOU KNOW WHAT? VERY FEW PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT IT, THEY LIKE IT THAT WAY; THEY AND THEIR EGO LOVE TO ABUSE THE POWER AND PROTECTION THEY HAVE AS A WILDLIFE OFFICER; THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED; ANYONE WHO WANTS PROOF/PICTURES ETC. OF THIS, SAY THE WORD, I WILL SEND IT RIGHT OVER. ANYONE WHO CAN DO THIS WITHOUT A PROBLEM, HAS A MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM, IF YOU SEE ONE OF THEM RUN LIKE HELL- THAT'S WHERE THEY ARE GOING BY THE WAY....

Cow's blood? Shows the hypocrisy and limited intelligence of these self-righteous fools. Where are the cries of “he’s exploiting cows?” I’m sure that some red food coloring in water would have impressed his woodland friends just as much. Dumping a bucket of acorns over his head would have been even better, then the happy little deer could have enjoyed the idiocy even more!

I agree AOakley!!There has to be a humane way to control the population without having to slaughter them after the fact. Logic would say address the issue before it gets that far.

According to your fellow animal rights freak, you can not get back to watch anything?? Since reality does not seem to be one of your strong suits - I have also seen the suffering of overpopulated deer starving to death or being hit and maimed by vehicles left to die on the side of the road, or wonder around for days in pain before dying. Have you watched that? I have, maybe YOU should too. On that note - I am much more concerned about the driver's safety and well-being after hitting an animal of that size, many driver's have been killed hitting deer, it is more prevalent where the deer is over populated and during their breeding season. But you're probably not concerned over that. And I do not need your permission to "riddle you about how I feel".

Dude, by Ohio law any control killing or if the deer hits a car and law enforcement is called then the deer has to be given to the hunters for food program. With the economy the way it is right now you should be thankful for hunters and for control hunts like this. This will feed the hungry in the state. Also, if you want car insurance rates in the region to go down then you should be happy this happens. They say every 10 deer that hit a vehicle or causes an accident then insurance rates go up 10%. Just like house insurance rates go up every time there is a big storm in the region. So be glad this is happening. I am a hunter and very proud of it. For if I did not hunt then my family would have to spend even more money on food through out the year.

This is an idiot who doesn't even understand what he is protesting. He would rather have these animals starve to death (or be beaten to death by crazy old ladies with shovels because there is not enough food in their natural habitat)than to have their population managed-during the proper hunting season-by professionals. Additionally, to protest the killing of animals with the blood of another animal is absolutely ridiculous.
