didn't the article say he had a criminal record?

"After that, police ran the name through a criminal database and discovered a person by that name had had previous run-ins with the law - and had his mugshot and fingerprints taken. The photograph looked much like Vidal, but the fingerprints confirmed his identity, Nickey said."

sounds like a criminal

First of all I think the police were really smart for finding out who the man was by using the bonus card on his keychain, that was awesome. As for all the people who are being so mean spirited on here what if you were the family member of someone who died and people were saying such mean things about your loved one. This person was a human being and like the other writer said he had friends and a family who miss him now. You are all very nasty people, just because he was hispanic does not make him less of a human being, you all shoule be ashamed of yourselves. Rest in Peace and I will be praying for this mans soul, and for his friends, and family. Just remember you nasty people "What would Jesus Do"

Oh, and I forgot to mention that there are many many people right now that have lost their jobs, and their homes because of the economy. You have no idea what this mans circumstances were. Just because people are unemployed and homeless does not make them scum of the earth. Stop being judgemental.

It's not racism what they are feeling is threatened! Our government will help a citizen out from another country without batting an eye and use our tax dollars to pay for it. We Americans are expected to help every nation but when we need help our government laughs at us! I think it is misdirected anger we are seeing here. Illegal or Legal people assume and always will... it's not there fault. It's those jerks in D.C.'s fault for ever allowing the situation to occur. We need to stop allowing outsourcing of American jobs to other countries, keep jobs here and people will stop feeling threatened and won't be so quick to judge, at least that is what I think. Hey why don't you send Jesus to those freaks in Washington they definitely need Him. Life also does not choose us, God does and he has given each of us a purpose not fate. Do you know Jesus?

I wonder what Jesus thinks of his "criminal record". I wonder what Jesus thinks about him wandering around on a highway at 3 am instead of getting a good nights rest to try to find a job the next day. My prayers are with the guy that hit him - it was an unfortunate accident and I hope he understands that.

It didn't say he had a "criminal record", it said he had run-ins with the law. Look at the facts that were reported.

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Virgo

You're in a very sensitive frame of mind today and are acutely aware of what other people are going through. So if someone is having a bad time, you'll want to do what you can to help. However, it's important to accept that you may not be able to do a single thing. If you persist in trying to help, it will be because you're uncomfortable with the situation and want to feel better.
