Whom ever shot this gentleman should be immediately raised at least four (4) ranks.

Who really cares at this point, who shot the leathal shell? The good point of it all is, there is another piece of scum off the streets, ans whoever fired the lethal shot, my hats off to them and they were justified with all the havoc and crimes they all committed to get to this point. Does any one realize how many lives were in danger at this time?

I agree that the officer had every right - and If there was a third person involved, I hope they find them as well (so they can face their punishment)
It's a shame they had to shoot at the officers, now the guy that died; He will never be able to turn over a new leaf and correct his life,or be sorry for his actions. He had a family that loved him too.
People are really getting desperate now...it's only gonna get worse before it gets better,May God help us all!

Are you kidding me? These three clowns were hardened criminals, not some guy stealing a loaf of bread for his family to eat. This was not a random desperate act, they traveled all the way from Harrisburg to York to commit a violent armed robbery and then shot at police. The only shame is that one got away, for now!!!!
P.S. I'm sure all their guns were registered. Take note politicians, maybe another gun law would have prevented this!!!

Determining who fired the lethal shot is a complete waste of resources and effort. Who really cares and what value does this information add to the incident; none! I'd keep that finding confidential, sort of like in the old days when a bad dude went in front of a firing squad; only one unknown shooter got a round of live ammo. Treat this incident the same way. The asshole was in the wrong and got what he deserved and saved taxpayers a bundle of money! The unfortunate part is that the police officers bullets missed the other two whackos during the scuffle...
