I'm with Kaupas all the way! There is no comparison between Kaupas and Piazza. Kaupas has the experience and the know how for the position.

In my opinion you couldn't of found two more worthless drunks.Lets go by past performances. As I see it ,after going over the books payrolls ,office spending, family bailouts....Well they are both not worth the rope it would take to hang them.
If you wan't a real man in office,I'm open to a write in.Just say the word.
No matter how much of a man you would be, even with a 100,000 votes, not a 1 would count. You have a procedure in this county on how to run as a "write-in candidate". It doesn't start by showing "testicular-prowess" . I starts with following the law.

PIAZZA... PIAZZA... PIAZZA... ALL THE WAY!!! Piazza worked side by side with that douche bag for the past several years so he does have experience and knowledge. Kaupas didn't have experience either until he was voted it either!!! I say we give Piazza a chance to show us what he can do. To Lockport Local: How do you know that they are drunks??!! You must know from experience!! And to House Watch: Wanna be sopranos??!! Do you know them... because it obvious that you don't if you are making a comment like that!!!

Great job on the cheerleading buddy, but it doesn't change the fact that Pete can't match up with a chimp on an IQ test. Have you ever spoken to him about important issues? Do you seriously believe that a guy with only a GED can actually run a multi-million dollar organization like the WCSD?

And have you ever spoken with his brothers? I have-I'm a family friend and I have seen the way they live. I don't mind hanging around them, but to be honest with you, they should not be carrying weapons.

It is clear that you do NOT know this family, because if you did, you would not be supporting Pete for this office. We are all crossing our fingers that he and Greg will retire without a lawsuit against their families. We like drinking with them and hanging out together, but that's about it.

To his face we all humor him and tell him he can win, but we all know it would be a nightmare for all of us in Will County.

And I love how you are already slinging mud about Kaupas-distorting cases to make him look bad. Do you really want to go there? Because Pete has a particularly embarrassing career record.

My vote goes to Kaupas.

This is easy victory for Kaupas. It will be four more years of sniveling and crying foul in their beers at Roccos (campaign headquarters). Bust out the brewskis and non-filtered camels for the wives.
The whole family is a group of misfit losers perpetually seeking power they cannot obtain through merit. The few followers they attract are those who seek to share in the spoils of non-merit obtained victory through payoffs and job rigging.
Pete, do know where Greg is? Is he still banging Lisa Lovelace right under the nose of his wife? How about the rest of family, can I get anyone a coke?

You obviously got your ass kicked by one of the Piazza girls. Now you want to come on here and pick a fight with guys who will shove your head up your ass. I love all the cowards on this thread who talk shi* and refuse to do anything but hide behind a keyboard. Until you grow some balls and bring it to the Piazza's personally, shut the f*** up and continue playing with yourself.

I've seen the Piazzas fight-pretty d a m n funny. They are all talk. House Watch don't need to do anything-he speaks the truth. I am gonna laugh as I watch this knucklehead lose in a landslide. It's a republican year and everyone loves Kaupas. Have fun spending all that union money cause no real person with any self respect would give you a penny Pete. You'd just blow it on Miller Lite and nachos at fat sams.

The family is pathetic. They are so desperate for power because they have no depth of character or personal accomplishment. It is really sad to see. We have to make sure that none of them ever holds office again.

I unfortunately have to hang out with them for reasons I'd rather not say. The fact is that I get to see them in their "natural habitat", so to speak, and it is pretty disturbing.

I've seen the gloating, bragging, scheming, trash talking, drunkenness and other base behavior of their crowd. They do not have pure motives when it comes to public office. It's all about power, payback and patronage. As long as they, their friends and family are taken care of, then they are happy.

I appreciate your assessment of the type of person I am (even though you've never met me), because if you think I am a POS, then you must really think the Piazzas are the bottom of the barrell.

As a Sox fan looking forward to opening day and a person who knows the Piazzas well, I hope we are celebrating our second world champioship in five years in October and I hope we're telling the world He (Piazza) Gone! in November.

He is awful and will only hurt the sheriff's department!

Pete Piazza is a rock head. His brother Greg is even worse, but he has a temper. His brother John at least has a brain, but he plays favorites with his puddies. No way I'm voting for him.

They're like Boss Hogg, Enos and Rosco-good old boys.

The story in today's paper about the murder for hire that Kaupas helped to uncover is a great example of the type of leadership we are receiving with him right now. Piazza would have considered whether he was a family member, friend or campaign contributor before deciding whether to go after that guy.

And those endorsements are from the primary-that will change in the general election.

<quoted text>
This is the most credible, unbiased evidence not to vote for Pete that I have seen thus far. One of the most underlying problems with our nation, especially the state of Illinois is the waste and corruption within the unions. I am pro union and a vested union member. I am not blinded by the arrogance of the unions leadership(in all unions) especially when I receive the financial statements. The teacher, the iron worker, the deputy, the carpenter all get what they can. It is the union leaders that lobby and contribute heavily to politicians to legally rob tax payers for their own benefits. Unions have served a great purpose in our country. History has taught us all that fact. Present day knowledge teaches us that the unions of today are putting a huge strain on our society and need to be reeled back into reality. Unfortunatly a vote for Pete is a step backward from where we need to go as a county and a country. We as voters must let the union leadership know that until they change their ways their word is mute to our ears and our vote.
